Next day delivery. Installed as a diy. Easy
Have always avoided diy fibre in the past. Needed a 200m run which previously was covered using 3 lengths of Ethernet and Poe repeaters. The repeaters kept failing so I took the plunge. Needed to find out which fibre to Ethernet converter was needed and the cady and ordered it. With great trepidation my son and I pulled it through the conduit that the cat6 cable was in. Pulling was a lot easier than Ethernet even though I had convinced myself I had damaged it with a kink. Plugged it in. Lights came on. Ethernet registered. Speed test , we’ll that’s the problem… how do you test a 10gbit cable when the switches at each end are 1gbit.In summary. It worked. It was cheaper than the cat6 option when you factored in the need for Poe and repeaters. It’s fast. It was more robust than I had imagined. Next steps is to replace the Ethernet in the house.

Works great as a Fibre Patch Cable.
Tested it on my 10Gbit SFP+ Transceivers and on my borrowed SFP28 Transceivers on my MikroTik Router and MikroTik Switches and it worked great that I will be buying more of these later on.

Fitted dozens of these and never had any issues. For the price point I really can’t fault them.Maybe wouldn’t put too much tensile strength on them or pull them too hard but that’s just common sense. Ends seem well fitted as well.

Perfect
Running this fibre between two switches, once upstairs in the loft and on behind the TV. Transmission rates are perfect and runs outside in trunking around the house with no problems with the corners. Strong enough to get through the hole in the wall but remember to keep the end clean!! A slight bit of dust and you will have problems.

Used to patched 10gb fibre and work perfectly. I have many of these cables and all work as expected. The cable is flexible and easy to use. The ends snap apart if they need to be crossed.

Sehr flexibel und robust. Ich habe das LWL-Patchkabel in meiner Werkstatt verlegt und war aufgrund der "Einzieh-Situation" nicht besonders zimperlich. Das Kabel hat wirklich viel aushalten müssen, bis es fertig verlegt war, aber es funktioniert perfekt. Was will man mehr :-)

Das Kabel ist gut verarbeitet und stellt eine zuverlässige 10 GBit-Verbindung zwischen Router und Switch her.

Ideal für Indoor Anwendung
Um zwei Switches (via SFP Modul) zu verbinden hatte ich dies Glasfaserpatchkabel gekauft. Es funktioniert wie es soll. Der Laie sollte drauf achten ob er Multimode- oder Singlemodefasern braucht. Mit der falschen Faserart läuft es nämlich gar nicht. Auch das verwendete SFP-Modul oder der Medienkonverter muss zur Faser passen. Hier ist alles Multimode mit 550 nm Wellenlänge. Dann klappt es auch.
