Clean, dry sand.

I've used this sand in two aquariums so far, it's been great and is even safe for shrimp! The look and feel of it is beautiful and the amount you get for the price is really good. I'm also very impressed with how little dust it produces - the grains are soft and small enough to easily sift through but big enough you don't have to worry about inhaling powder when playing with or pouring it. I normally have to rinse sand and rocks before putting them in an aquarium to keep the dust from making the water foggy - but this sand really didn't need much rinsing at all.

I've bought this multiple times. I have bought it at a low low price and have bought it at a high price. I've noticed that when it's listed at a higher price the sand is in a more fine and pristine condition. It's whiter and no specs of black or other irregularities that I find in it when I order at the lower prices. I have never found bugs in it as others may have mentioned. I don't have children so it's not a concern for me to have the more pristine clean looking sand. It is wonderfully soft and very fine. Just like walking on a nice beach. It works great for a number of garden applications as well. Just watch out if you have animals that dig, just like beach sand, it gets everywhere!

LOVE this sand. They let me know the shipping company had lost my original order and had another order delivered the very next day. I didn’t even know it was lost. Dust free and my grandkids love it. Great product and excellent customer service!!!

good sand for a sand box. we just had a small turtle sand box and only bought one bag thinking it was enough. i would definitely recommend getting 2-3 bags as it barley covered the bottom of our sand box. was very soft sand and no other rocks or debrie was mixed in!

I have a bearded dragon and she loves sand! (I don’t feed her where she might ingest the sand, but this is still safer than crushed walnut that you get in pet stores!) if you’ve ever had a desert reptile with a sand substrate, you probably know what a nightmare it is to clean and dry play sand from the hardware store. This stuff is beautiful and comes clean and dry! It’s obviously a bit pricier than the play sand from the hardware store, but the time it takes to clean and dry that stuff makes this worth every penny! Not to mention that it doesn’t have any rocks or clay in it! And it’s a lot cheaper than the real sand that is cleaned and marketed for reptiles! Did I mention that it’s beautiful?
