Theses are by far my favorite circular knitting needles If you can find them on sale buy them immediately. The coil between the needles is kink resistant, a positive must, if you want to knit evenly and quickly. The knitting tips are ideal for picking up stitches and super smooth. They can be more expensive but worth every penny. Even if they are on sale they are just super

For years, I've been thinking I was just unable to master this skill. I'd been using hand me down circular needles. I would have so many ladders, it was terrible and frustrating. All my circulars curled up like they were slinkies in a former life. These are amazing. I took them out of the package (where they were curled up) and held it in the air by one end. They hung down completely straight! Wow... I start my magic loop for a hat. No ladders. Not one. These bend beautifully, they have no memory and will hang straight afterwards, even after leaving in the project for days. The 40 inch ones are a great length for magic loop hats. You can also do the "two at a time" socks easily with the 40" length. I've used wool, acrylic, and cotton yarns - all work up nicely on these metal needles and they are pointy enough that I haven't had a problem with accidentally splitting the yarn. I've been using the 4mm for worsted and dk weight yarns. I haven't used with lace, fingering or bulky yarn yet.

After reading some of the reviews, I wondered if these needles would disintegrate in the middle of my project. But I needed some really long circular needles in size 6 that I could afford, and I couldn't find that combination anywhere else. I'm so pleased! The cable straightens beautifully without "remembering" its twist from packaging. The transition from the cable (smooth nylon material) to the aluminum needle tips is clean with no snags. And the needles themselves are easy to work with. The tips are sharp enough to quickly work my stitches, yet blunt enough to avoid the frustration of dividing the yarn. I highly recommend this product.

These arrived faster than I'd expected, and after playing with them for a bit I'm really liking them! I'm a newbie knitter and these are my first circular needles so I can't compare to others, but I did read a lot of reviews before settling on these and can say that the reviews on these seem pretty accurate. The cable isn't overly stiff and is easy to move and bend as needed, the thread flows nicely on and off the cable onto the needles without catching, and overall they seem to work really well. I will say these are EXACTLY 40" from tip to tip so if in any doubt about sizing definitely size up. The needles are a tad shorter than what my preference would be, but I'm also used to longer needles so that's probably to be expected.

These needles are excellent for knitting in the round (e.g. socks, necks, cuffs). The cord is flexible and does have a stiff curl. The needle is not slippery and holds stitches well without drag.
