Great max improvement clubs
They are exactly what a high handicap golfer needs. They are weighted so that the ball gets up into the air easily. They are comparable to similar iron sets from Cleveland and Cobra, but less expensive. My only wish is that the set should have included a sand wedge instead of a 5 iron.

New to golf? Buy these irons.
Absolutely, positively recommend for ALL beginners. I’ve been playing about 8 months, I have taken about 10 lessons on irons alone, conventional irons were just impossible (as a beginner with a long way to go). Honestly I struggled just being confident in applying what I’ve learned. Insert these clubs, might be a little bit placebo but I felt confident the moment they touched the grass and wouldn’t you know it, my first shot on a par 3 with the 5 was 10 yards short of the green, and the most pure contact I’ve ever made. I continued my way around the 9 hole, par 3 course and 100% honest truth, maybe hit 2 bad shots with these clubs. When I think about rounds leading up, that would have been more like 30+ with 4 lost balls. It’s easily the best round I’ve played and due largely to the irons, today. These clubs should darn near be mandatory for new golfers to increase confidence, practice of fundamentals, pace of play, and overall fun. I am so incredibly pleased with how these clubs perform I could not recommend them more. They single-handedly made the early stages of golf more fun, and less stressful. If you’re new, do yourself a favor, buy these irons, they are an absolute hack to hang with your more experienced friends while you learn.

Irons look good and work well.
Wilson Lp launch pad 2 irons. Irons were delivered in great shape , brand new and on time as projected. Wanted midsize grips but they only come in standard grips. So had to have them regripped. Only suggestion is to make sure people realize this in a more seeable advertisement. Irons hit high and long, so very enjoyable to hit.

There is a learning curve
Like the clubs but if you buy them expect a learning curve lol. They are different for sure. Very high flight and go further. Learn your new distances.

Great set of sticks!
Love these sticks. the senior shaft works well for me. I still have decent swing speed, but not nearly what I had 30 years ago. Off-center hits still travel well, and stay pretty close to the target line. The only concern some might have would be the weight of the head. They're pretty hefty, but it's not an issue for me while swinging, and again, I'm a senior. the value can't be underestimated either. That's especially true if you're looking for new irons on a budget.

These irons launch high and straight, and are very forgiving!
The Wilson Staff Launch Pad 2 Men's Golf Irons launch is high and straight. These irons are very forgiving. They are a solid option for weekend golfers like me who are seeking improved performance and consistency. They offer forgiveness, distance, and ease of use. The wide sole design helps to improve turf interaction, especially on shots where the ball is sitting on the ground or in the rough. This has reduced my fat shots and increased my consistency in ball striking! They may not go as far as other game improvement irons, but hey, we need all the forgiveness we can get.

My new Wilson Launch Pad 2 Irons by-passed quality control, or are they knock-offs...
My Wilson Launch Pad 2 Irons from Amazon may have by-passed quality control. 6-iron example show scoring marks on the face carrying over to the chrome--etched in. I did play them once and the scuffing on the bottom of the club, again, the 6 iron is more than what should be expected in months of playing. I would settle for Wilson sending me a new LP2 Senior Evenflow-shafted 6-iron. I can live with the bottom scratches but the scoring lines are a bit awful to look at, and a bit embarrassing as I show off the clubs to my golf club members and others. I need to say that I'm a long-time fan and user of Wilson Golf products--wear the hat, have the Bean putter, and even the wedges. Traded my D9s in for these. Love the Wilson LP concept and looking forward to using these. Didn't expect imperfections in new clubs. Maybe I need to expect this, though, with everything done in China. Most likely explains the lack of quality control. Price looked too good. Hoping they aren't fakes/knock-offs--can't find a registration number on any of them. Lastly, I never write review, but figured this deserves a fair warning to others. Never know, might hear from Wilson--or not... ;>).
