The Castle in the Attic

Read this in school and now just rediscovered it. Still enjoying it many years later. Can't wait to reread this to my kids.

Paper seems of good quality, delivered faster thanexpected

Bought for my pre-teen to read, years ago.

My 9 year old grandson enjoyed this book very much and even used it for a book report. I've also read it and enjoyed it. Only 1 thing was a small negative, and my grandson was the one who brought it up. It's not made clear how the main character goes from the castle to an actual landscape. It does have to do with a tapestry, but I didn't pick up on that at first. It's a minor complaint. Very enjoyable, and I'm getting ready to read the sequel. Recommend it for 8 years and above.

It started off a little slow to grab my kids interest, but by halfway through my 6 and 10 year old boys didn't want me to stop reading it to them. Appropriate content and good message. We might read more from this author in the series. My boys are not fans of knights, but this book did open up their imaginations.

My students really enjoyed the story. This was my 2nd year to do a class study on the book. The first time I borrowed books I needed from library but it was such a success that this time I bought the books. These books were a great price and I received them quickly.

This is a great book for kids. My daughter is 7 and is sucked into the story.

Read to my classes for years. What an exciting and wonderful story. Kids of all ages and adults as well will enjoy this lovely and adventuresome tale. Just buy it!

This story fascinated me as a child but as an adult I couldn't help but be disappointed.
