I used these to put on my fruit trees to scare birds and squirrels. Worked pretty well. Has lasted a long time. Scared my nephew though when he went back there to look for his basketball LOL

Looked real to our family, but not to a bird! I bought this to scare a very determined bluebird away from a window on our house. It's a circle-top window and very high up in a vaulted ceiling. Not only is the bird exhausting itself, it's really doing a huge amount of birdie doo all over the window below the circle top and the house and the bushes and the sidewalk...you get the idea. :) I had tried silhouettes of birds. That did not work. So several websites suggested rubber snakes. We placed it just under the window's small ledge and the bird continued attacking the window and pooped on the snake. Another site said put it above and into the window. This snake coils and now the bird is using it for a perch. At least the poop is now mostly hitting the ground. I'm moving it to my small garden. I suspect it will do better at scaring rabbits. It's definitely a quality product! We just have a badass bluebird.
