Good quality and life saver!
Honestly. Life changer. My cat had a habit of kicking his litter out. For some reason with this one. He hasnt been doing that! The clean up! Is super easy!! What usually takes a long time. Took me like 3seconds! Its not to big. Not to small its just right for my kinda chubby cat!! Lol I use crystal litter and it works great with this product. I've had no issues with it as of now. The ease in which to clean it is also a bonus im willing to take because cleaning my other one took a while. The height is good. My cat can just walk right into it instead of jumping into his old one! Good product should get it if you've been on the fence about it. This is your sign to bite the bullet and do it!!

Cheap and it Works!
PROs 1. I purchased horse pine bed pellets from a Tractor Supply Store ( their own farm store brand) for $6 for a huge bag. I drove 40 minutes to get to that store and purchased 2 bags which will take forever for my cats to go though. Pellets much cheaper than scoopable litter. 2. Pellets do turn to sawdust when wet. It can stink if too much wet litter is on the bottom of the brown lower pan and cannot dry out easily. That is why I elevated the white hole pan above it with 5 Chef Boyardee (microwavable) containers (glued to bottom of white pan) so the brown pan can hold more sawdust between emptying and to get more air circulating between brown pan bottom and white hole pan to help dry wet pellets/saw dust out. No more smell. 3. I purchased TWO of these litter boxes. I put TWO brown pans inside each other and then put one white hole pan on top of the brown pans and set the rest of the 2nd litter pan in the garage. That way, I can shake the white hole pan into the brown pan and remove the brown pan with litter and set the white hole pan on the 2nd clean brown pan. I then take the 1st brown pan with sawdust in it to the compost pile and dump it. If it needs it I will hose it down in the backyard and let it dry and then place it under the brown pan. Rotating brown pans makes everything easier. 4. The white hole pan is dishwasher safe if used on top shelf of dishwasher. Someone put a large sticker on the bottom of the white hole pan covering the holes. It was taking me forever to scrap all the sticker off each and every little hole. I got frustrated and put the white hole pan in my dishwasher top shelf on 1 hour clean and viola - the sticker came off. 5. Sawdust is so MUCH LIGHTER than wet half clumped scoopable litter. When I carry the brown bottom pan filled with sawdust to the compost bin outside it is very very light. CONs 1) The white "HOLE" pan is too low to the bottom of the brown pan. I read where someone glued pipe ends to bottom of white hole pan but being cheap, I glued 5 empty Chef Boyardee microwave containers (face down) to the bottom of the white hole pan. 4 in each corner and one in the middle as I have a fat cat. These empty Chef Boyardee containers are high enough to allow litter to fall threw the holes and fill the brown pan below. I can also pick up the white hole pan and shake it and the sawdust sifts though the holes into the area beneath. 2) It was bit of trouble to get my old cat to use it. I had to put TWO litter pans next to each other. One with scoopable litter and one with pellets. I then put a few bits of her poo in the pellet litter along with a bit of scooapble litter wet with her urine. Then I STOPPED cleaning the scooble litter pan - GROSS. She kept stubbornly using it until the entire top was hard/crusted over. Then she did her business in one of the bedrooms so I closed ALL DOORS. FINALLY she used the pellet litter box and she has been using it every since. My cat is a digger and she gets pellets on the floor but they are easier to sweep up than litter and not tracked as easily either. I am going to cut a hole in the side of a large plastic tub and put my Arm/Hammer sift litter tray inside it to help contain the pellets as my cat really goes to town. To be fair I was going to do this if i had kept using scoopable litter also because my cat is messy. I have tried the crystal litter boxes, the litter box where urine runs through the litter and pools in bottom and you empty it (THE ABSOLUTE WORST MOST DISGUSTING litter box ever) and several other weird models that uses alternatives to scooble litter. I went though a dozen scooble litter types from SamsClub to everything on Amazon but nothing truly clumps. I tried several alternatives to scoopable litters like litter made from grain, newspapers, etc....all over hyped. Tidy Cat changed its formula awhile back and now urine does not clump but falls apart stinking up the litter box or I would never have been on the search for a different litter box. I have to thank Tidy Cat for me finding this litter sifting box and using horse bed pine pellets.

Lightweight and cute. I like it very much. . It is too small for larger cats.
I got so tired of scooping and sneezing my head off. There had to be a better way. I like this box. . I just ordered a second one. I have two cats. The only negative is that it is on the small side compared to other pans, but i like that. You use less litter to fill the pan. Less waste in my opinion. I have 2 Persian kittens that are quite big at 5 months of age. They fit just fine. This box is very lightweight and at 66 i just could not lift the other heavier sifter box I had, when full of litter. This one is much much easier to clean, I Lift, toss, put back together. I sometimes don't bother reassembling. I leave the sifter section out and sift to the other box back and forth a few times a day .i use Arm and Hammer SLIDE or CLOUD CONTROL. Either works good with this box. Just don't shake too much or the clumps break up. I gently lift the sifter, then quickly put the empty tray under it to catch fall out. I toss the clumps, then wipe the old used box and sifter with a alcohol on a paper towel or Lysol wipe. I put the sifter in the just cleaned tray. Done. Ready for the next time. Ever week they all get a good soap and hot water scrub and new litter, but after 7 days, the box does not really need it. I am amazed how much longer the dust free SLIDE and CLOUD lasts with NO odor. And I have tried just about every kind. I detest dusty clay litter. This box will work with any clay hard clumping litter but it may make a sticky mess on the sifter holes. I am specifically talking about tidy cat instant. It made a broken clumps mess with bits sprayed all over the new clean litter when I tried sifting. And the clumps stuck like glue to the bottom of the pan. I would spend 15 minutes fishing for bits with a ( no kidding) plastic dinner fork. Just to make sure my small apt did not smell like cat pee. Don't they know that I will never buy it again? it also got very dusty after just a few days of the cats scratching around. It smelled nice - but dust and loose wet clumps? No way. UPDATE: I have been using 2 of these boxes for my 5 month old Persian kittens for about a week. Indo like them very much. They are light and easy to clean. Drawbacks - I wish the holes were not up to the edges. I am constantly sprinkling my toes tapping the sifter out and I am being very slow and gentle, but sprinkling on me or the floor happens almost every time. The litter I use ( A&H Slide) is very fine and sandy. And you cannot fill the box to the suggested fill line. This makes it heavy to pick up to sift and the cats make a huge mess digging. My cats love to dig to China I swept up about a cup full of clean litter this morning. Last night I had decided to try filling to the line. Big mistake. This morning, I poured half of each into a third box. Enough of that nonsense. Litter is expensive, and I just could not throw litter mixed with normal daily floor dirt back into my two babies boxes. What a waste. And lastly, YES they are a bit too small, but I still like the ease of use and the look of them, so for now they are staying. Final thought - i stopped stacking them. I now leave 3 unstacked boxes out and use one box and one sifter to clean the other three. I Put the extra sifter away. So i have 3 plain boxes being used with one filter section and one clean empty box to go around cleaning the others. It got annoying to lift the heavy full stacked box to get to the sifter. . I am a senior with arthritis and this way works for me best. I will probably have to get larger boxes when the kittens become full grown. For now they work fine.

Meh
The sifting function works alright but that layer is flimsy. So what ends up happening is you get clumps in between that require 2-3 sifting cycles every time. The other issue is that the grid is too large. When you bang the sides to get the stuff that is stuck on, it breaks into small enough chunks that it just goes right through. I gave it 3 stars because the price is still honestly not bad for what is essentially 2 litter boxes now for me. Maybe a different litter would help with these issues I had, but my 2 girls are way too picky for me to risk changing. Also if your cat likes to throw litter around violently, the sides on this is definitely not high enough without the sifting tray and you will end up with litter every

I use it with wooden pellets, easy to use makes pellets go further by sifting the powered pellets. Very well made.

I was a bit skeptical of this product as, like other reviews have said, the pan is a bit small than other standard cat little boxes on the market. However my cats didn't seem to mind and quickly took to using this litter box despite it being smaller than our last one. I think the important part here is it is so easy to clean because of the built-in sifting tray that I've gotten into the habit of cleaning the litter box once or twice a day. I do think a slightly larger tray option would be better for people who have more than two cats or just cats who are more active and eat more than mine. That being said, I think this is more than acceptable for one cat and should also fair well with two cats if they're anything like mine.

Very easy to use and makes the task of cleaning the litter box a lot faster. my only comment would be the size, it works for kittens but might be a little small for big cats.

I bought this litter pan so that I can try using sustainable pine litter instead of clay litter (which is a finite resource) and it's working out great. I recommend all cat owners to look into this as it's kinder to the environment. Pine litter is also best used with this sifting litter pan so it's great that Amazon has this product.
