Moondance Bugs at Bay (Geraniol)

This product works on mosquitoes I think cuz I haven't been bitten by anything yet but it also works fantastic on ants and plants if you have a bunch of Nets in your plants that rhymes anyway couple sprays and it kills nearly any type of insect almost on contact love it will be ordering more

So I have looked at so many different products on the Internet and researched to try to find the best mosquito repellent and I have just come up short; until now. I was almost afraid to write a review in fear that the product would all of a sudden stop working.I walk my two dogs on a very large field in the morning hours where mosquitos are waking up to a meal. I even spray this stuff on my dogs and other than a little irritating for a short minute or less their noses aren't happy.I spray a decent amount on my arms, hands, face, neck, well you get the picture and I spray the dogs neck and back area. We walk for about an hour and very little problems with mosquitos and I mean very little. I certainly expect a mosquito or two to bite me and or us, but nothing like how it is without this product. I am so impressed that I can actually walk with my girls without wanting to leave the field. It's truly a remarkable product which I cannot say about most things that I buy. I think I have purchased 5 bottles this summer. Buy it and you won't regret it!Make sure before you spray that you shake the bottle like they tell you to...that's very important!

I’m always on the lookout for all natural products that work as well as the mainstream products- this one does! Just ordered my second bottle to keep in the car.

Hubby got bitten by chiggers, recently. He's been itching like cRaZy! So I went online to check out what Dr. Weil recommends to repel mosquitoes, chiggers & fleas, etc. One of the things he recommends is GERANIOL. That is the 1st ingredient in this all-natural herbal insect repellent. There are no toxic chemicals in this "bugs at bay" spray. It's DEET-FREE. You don't need a degree in chemistry to understand the ingredients. This product was proudly made in America.

I am really sensitive to bug bites, and worse, I have ridiculously sensitive skin. So while I can use deet-based products on my clothing, my face, hands, neck etc were left unprotected and at the mercy of these aircraft-carrier-sized mosquitoes in Northern Idaho. I was desperate to find a solution that works for both my sensitivities AND location, so I tried literally everything. This stuff is THE answer!! Works great for my face, ears, neck and chest. No numbing, no burning, no rash, and it smells great (very lemony)!Only one con - I used it once in Northern California as an all-over bug spray instead of deet while on a nature hike, and it worked moderately well until I sweat it off. But then I kept liberally applying it more to smell good than to keep the bugs off hehe

Initially I had a problem with the product as it was delivered. It had slipped out of it's box and leaked into the package. I left this information with the vendor and suggested they tape the box shut in addition to just closing it. they were very responsive and sent a replacement in a box that was indeed taped shut and did not come open and leak. The product itself is all that is advertised and certainly helps with insects. I spray myself in the morning and just before I go into the barn or chicken house. I find that when I do this I am not eaten alive as I was before. Thanks Moon Dance for making a great product and for your immediate and positive response to my shipping issue

I'm in the Northeast where it's getting more humid every Summer, and the insects are increasing every year. I'm also in an area that has ticks. This product has pennyroyal in it. I've gotten similar products without pennyroyal and they just attracts bees, and do nothing for mosquitos or ticks. Make sure it has pennyroyal. So far no bees, no mosquitos, no ticks, no gnats, etc. It's really amazing stuff. My kids have not had a skin reaction to it, but still I mostly spray it on their clothes, shoes, and hair. Just be sure to shake it up really well as the oils separate and float to the top.

DO NOT buy this product for young children. We purchased for our 2 year olds trying to avoid the chemicals in other bug sprays. Within 30 seconds of spraying it on both kids and myself, it started burning our skin. It left a horrible red rash where applied even though we washed it off with soap within 2 minutes.
