harder to read than i thought. floats most of the time. you have to manually lower it and then it sinks for awhile until the water pump goes on. appears that bubbles have gotten inside the readout area as well. sadly, this and the others on the site are the same you get in a pool store so you don't have much choice

This lasted all of about two weeks. Does not float upright - top reservoir fills with water. Furthermore, the actual glass thermometer become dislodged from the very cheap, very thin wire hold the top in place. Once that happens, its placement relative to the numerical scale is lost and the device becomes useless. spend a few bucks more and get one that will actually last beyond a few weeks.

Price was good, had to use a drop of glue to get it to stick to the side of the pool. Its ok for the money.

It floats, it tells the temp and it is tough, even our neighbor that breaks everything could only temporarily disable the double stick tape after she pulled on it with all her might, it laughed in her face and bobbed back up in the hot tub for more!!

The cover is made of thin hard (brittle) plastic. The first chip happened as the top was put on and it was downhill from there. The thermometer stays sideways in the water and fills up with water. Useless! Save money and order a quality thermometer.

Don't waste your money on this. Lasted about 5 months, but the top float took on water immediately and it always laid sideways in spa. Had to finally throw it out when thermometer came unglued from plastic backing and temp reading no longer valid.

After 1 day of usage, the thermometer element within the plastic house broke loose.
