Effective product I use a lot of. Very effective and I highly recommend it for nutsedge. Kills nutsedge in about a week and leaves clear ground. Be sure to reseed.

This is the first product I have used for Nutsedge that actually worked as advertised. I bought several bottles so I will always have it available.

I’m so impressed with how well this product works on nutsedge. That stuff just laughs at RoundUp, but almost starts wilting when it sees me with this. I do usually have to go over a larger area a second time after 4-5 days, but that’s just fine. Nutsedge is very sneaky and will pop up a few feet over given any opportunity, but this product is the best I’ve ever used.

Only thing we’ve found that kills nutsedge. Doesn’t happen overnight, but within a few days they are dead.

Although effective at killing nutsedge that has been applied to, must continue to apply to new growth to control spreading

I highly recommend this product. Works SO MUCH BETTER THAN SEDGEHAMMER!! I had a large boarder that started as all mondo grass (tall not dwarf) We noticed a few nutsedge so we pulled by hand. Before we could turn around, the border was now a patch of nutsedge with some mondo grass in between. I used SedgeHammer at recommended concentration and applied 3 times over 2-3 weeks. Well the nutsedge responded like Hulk Hogan being slapped by a 3 year old child. Applied higher concentration and little bit of distress but it just shook it off like (ok, my wife said I had to stop the embellishments). Didn’t work. Waited a few more weeks (now the entire area is over run so I tried Ortho Max Nutsedge killer for Lawns in the hand spray bottle. Applied ONE HEALTHY APPLICATION and nutsedge was dead DEAD in less than 1 week and had a noticeable effect the day after application. I RARELY write reviews but I HAD to write this. I am going to try the hose sprayer mixture next for other areas of my lawn. I will keep y’all informed.

I have been using this product since it came on the market, and it used to be very good….I’m wondering if maybe the weeds have built up a resistance to this….
