Slight flicker when I hit the brakes, I don’t understand why by they are bright

Installed these on a 2014 Dodge Dart SXT in place of the OEM halogen bulbs. There was no flickering and they provided much better visibility than the OEM bulbs. I've been using them for about a year now with no issues.
