I'm straining to come up with the right words, sifting through my vocabulary to find a good description. I like to screen all products before we use them, and this item meshed perfectly with what we needed.In a world where so much simple, basic things are being made cheaply without care, this was a welcome find. Put together well, and simply does the job it's made to do.And it actually really does almost fit perfectly in the mouth of a 5-gallon bucket, but there is about a 1/2" gap between the rim and this strainer. The handles do, however, keep the strainer from falling into the bucket. The picture shows a 2-3 gallon bucket, so that's rather disappointing that someone is attempting to deceive us as to the size.

This was such a necessary purchase. Pouring roasters full of broth into 5 gallon buckets! Instead of trying to put a colander in it or someone holding it... this was defiantly a must. Made it safer and easer for sure. I had 12 roasters full of brother to strain and bucket. Made life so much easier. Good quality. Cleaning a bit of a pain because its a tight weave and we had lots of herbs in our broth. But a run through of a dishwasher did the job.

Too small of holes for my purpose. Might be great for delicate items that need a fine mesh. The handles are a nice added feature. Seems well made and definitely designed for thin liquids with hardly any chunky particles.

I use this strainer for straining glazes that I mix from powder. It sits perfectly on a 5 gallon bucket without risk of slipping in and is nice and sturdy. It did a great job sieving my glaze and was easy to clean.

I bought this to help filter grain sediment from my wort in small batch beer brewing. Does a fair job and fits very well over my fermenter.

Worked perfectly. I use well water to throw pots and clean my tools, and needed something to filter debris. I also use it to filter the sludge out of my throwing water to reclaim more clay. It's awesome.
