WAudio AC Noise Power Conditioner - Mains Purifier Audio Video Noise Filter Surge Protector with US Standard Sockets (Black)

Just What I was looking for!! When I came across this WAudio unit I was very excited as I have used this brand before and found it to be very beneficial in my Audio System. This is a very nice shelf standing unit, as opposed to the "on floor" model blocks they also sell. To me this type of model sets up for a cleaner all around setup being your power cords aren't running to the floor. The unit is very nice with plenty of "Filtered" and "Direct" outlets on the back to fit your needs. I am now loving the fact that not only are my DAC's and other equipment getting "clean" power to them, but I also noticed a difference in the low end punch of my system with this unit, just like I have experienced with their floor models. The VU meter showing where your particular power is at the moment is a very nice addition to this unit. I also now have the ability with one switch on the front panel to cut power to all of my equipment when not in use. This in itself is also a very nice feature of this unit. I can gladly recommend this Power Conditioner to anyone looking for this type of unit to ensure their electronics are getting what they need and are also protecting them at the same time!! Pour Audiophile, ce petit bijou fait des miracles! J'ai toujours eu du voltage sur mon ground, qui cause du bruit de fond. Waudio a régler mon problème. Tout mes appareil audio ont gagné en sonorité, aucune perte de son. Par contre, brancher ce petit bijou avec un bon cable de power, le résultat est très surprenant. Et pas obliger de se ruiner, exemple le bryston est 9000$.. Pas de board, tout est filer avec du copper solid long grain, ils ont écouter avant de sortir ce conditionneur. Rocommande a tout les gens qui ont des problème de courant!

I tested my outlet directly with a noise meter and I was picking all kinds of noise, even radio sounds. This dropped that noise level to zero. I can't recall the exact numbers, but it was dramatic and cut it down to zero. I have the silver as it used to match my silver faced stereo system, meters included although I wish it was lit up. Now I want a black one for my current set up, and I'll likely buy another.

I wasn't going to leave a review, I got this mainly to protect my equipment. I'm pretty amazed that it acually made a difference in sound! Not so much with my digital amp but the bass does seem tighter and the center of the soundstage in my stereo system seems a lot better somehow. Where it really made a different is my tube guitar amp though! It sounds quite a bit better and it already sounded good before, it sounds almost smoother or something, and the hiss when I'm not playing is only about a 1/4 of the volume as before. There isn't as much interference with the pedals now either. I have my sound system, subwoofer, record player, pre amp, PC and screens, TV, guitar amp and 10 pedals plugged Into this with no issues and everything running at fairly loud volumes too. The light is not dim.. but it's not as bright as other reviews make it seem I don't think, and where its not going to go on the top shelf, i hope, it shouldn't be an issue. This picture makes it look brighter then it is, I tried to get one that showed what it really looks like but for some reason there's always a glare, it really isn't as bad in person even with the lights off.

Power conditioners are typically very pricey when all I really need them to do is protect my home theater equipment. This one does just as good a job as others I've tried. Only thing is this was way more affordable.
