Q: I want to put a heavy texture on my walls. With that said, I will use joint compound rather than paint. Is that okay with this type of roller?

Yes, the rollers will work with any wet material - just need to roll the pattern roller through while the concrete is still wet.

Q: Do you have to use with plaster or will using it with just paint work?

I’m using it to imprint clay on pottery design and it does a beautiful job. Not sure on plaster, but assuming it’s trowled on and then rolled for imprint, I think it would work.

Q: How does this work around corners and trim?

Its big and bulky would be difficult to get it into a corner or trim. Like a reg roller it would go into a corner or edge either.
