This Aluminum 12-inch Rafter Square is "true/square" right out of the box. The markings are easy to read, has several different measuring modes for convenience. I like to use it as a saw guide for straight/true cuts. The ridge end locks securely on the wood edge for easy working. The build quality is great, angle is proper.

I’ve been looking for a rafter square with a level, but they’re usually really expensive. Took a chance on this one. It worked out fine as most all the bells and whistles. The pivot could be a little bigger for that but not a showstopper overall great purchase, especially for the money.

Good and affordable square for use at work and home! Time will tell the durability
