It depends on what you apply ontop of it! It has amazing intense grip for anything that goes ontop of it, so if you apply something mattifying i think it would work. I honestly love using it and then adding ontop of it the CT Flawless filter and it makes my skin suuuuper glossy, shiny and glass like thats just my style but it works amazingly anyways
