Must have for flat lays, videos and product photography.
This is a sturdy and solid overhead rig. The images do not show the actual feet, the video does. They're not flat, they're metal with feet so it's stable both side to side and front to back with no rocking at all. It holds my Sony ZV-E10 II and ring lights easily, and the height extensions are perfect for table top / desktop use. I'm very happy with it and use it all the time. Most of the time I don't even take it down.

Works fine for what I need
I looked at multiple options for what I wanted this for. I was looking for overhead filming capabilities on a table. Some of the options were very expensive, and some of them were just not what I was looking for. I finally opted for this one because it seemed simple and cost effective. The ability to use it is dependent upon the quality of your stand that you put it on. I have 2 very good quality tripod stands and it works with either of them. I have a digital camera that I could use, but I felt it was too heavy for what I had in mind, so I just use my phone for this, and it works well. The extension capability is nice. It comes with the two washers that you can put a weight in between if you need that. I will probably purchase one or two just in case I want to use my heavier digital camera. The connections where you attach it on the tripod as well attaching the camera are good quality and seem very secure. Overall it feels like a quality piece of equipment that will function fine for my overhead filming that I do.

Exactly What I Was Looking For!!
This is one of the best investments I've made! I've been filming videos that require the camera to be tilted down towards my table, and up until now I've been using standard tripods. It's been a long journey getting here, I just never wanted to spend the money, but as I was getting more involved in my videos, and the things I needed in reach have been steadily growing, it became inevitable. Long story short, I'm so happy I decided to spend the money on this! It is very well made, very solid, but not too heavy. It was easy to put together, and it's easy to move and customize the setup to how you need it, when you need it. The set up was very easy, well explained, and didn't require any tools. I had it ready in probably 30 minutes. I did spend some time going through my own collection of items trying to further customize this to my needs. I rummaged through tripods and lighting gear finding various attachments I could use. I was able to attach my lighting to this, as well as rig an attachment to the side for a second angle to use in editing. Luckily, any 1/4" screw can be used to attach things to the top. It's also easy to move your camera to either side in just seconds, without fear of your camera falling. This set up does not have a release plate, you will need to unscrew it every time. I don't have a problem with this since my screen flips, and my battery and memory card are easily accessible while it's attached. The space you have to work is the best part! Everything is here now. I'm not cramped between two tripods, two umbrella lights, and everything else I need. I have just this, and I work comfortably under it. I set up my filming area, and if I find I need more room to one side, I simply slide the camera over! My only real complaints is that I wish it can with a couple extra attachments. For instance, there is room on the sides to attach more items once you secure the crossbar. However, those holes are a different size than literally every else. It's slightly larger than the 1/4" size. It would've been nice to have extra screws that size for various items to be attached there. I also would've appreciated stronger/more durable clamps, the plastic ones feel like they will break at any moment. Since this was not the main part of the purchase (for me), and replacements are pretty inexpensive, it's not a huge deal, but a consideration if you plan to actually use them. Also, it would've been nice to see a friction arm. I know the listing clearly states they are not included, but I can say I would've really appreciated having at least one included since they are featured prominently in the listing photo. This has been a real game changer for me, and worth every penny. I can't recommend this enough!

The Bottom screw did not go in it was too tight. Had to do a lot of work. Could be much better for the price. also 5 more inches width would be great.

I had been looking for some sort of desktop cradle for my DSLR for taking pictures of rare books at a 90 degree angle, where scanning is not really an option. Surprisingly, there are actually not a lot of options for this, other than building your own custom rig, which I did not really want to do. This thing is built sturdy and very functional. You can tell they actually put some thought into it when designing. The booklet with assembly instructions seems out of date, just a point to be aware of. They have clearly swapped out a few things, like the clips are plastic and not metal as shown in the assembly book. They have also opted to have slightly different parts that do seem like an upgrade over what is pictured in the manual. There are also two pre-assembled pieces that looks like were not in a previous iteration of the product. You might be a bit confused as you look through, but it is all still close enough and very easy to figure out, so this wasn't much of an issue. The whole thing took me minutes to put together. They only thing I would like to see included in the package are something like long mounting screws that pass through the top bar that then might have a nut on either side to keep them from slipping. Mounting certain devices can be challenging if you wanted to do it on the top part of the bar and they do not have a mounting screw that is double-sided (you can easily screw in a standard 1/4" mounting screw to the top bar). There are the arms that are included that can work for this, but they stick out and you may not want that if you are affixing something like various lighting. The sidebars are easier, since they are hollow and open-faced, so putting a mounting screw through at the standard 1/4" length is easy enough. Honestly, not a lot of options like this on the market. The quality of materials, with the exception of the included clips, are very good. Highly recommend if you are looking for something like this and it fits your need. For me, I couldn't have asked for anything better. Looks like it will be great for teaching sessions where I need to flip through a book to show examples, as well.

Item arrived quickly and well packed. Easy to assemble and even with no additional counterweight, holds my Nikon D780 and 105mm macro lens well. Will definitely do the job required so I can do photography above my items.

Ordered this camera stand from Glide Gear for ₹4900 but the quality is terrible, the camera stand is broken and very lose. It cannot hold any phone in place. Horrible experience and extremely bad quality.
