5 year old loved this book - good to have inspiring stories for this age group.

Superb books, our son loves space and this is a great intro to space history. Engaging, well written and the drawings are complementary.

This was bought for a teachers gift for her classroom, so I haven't seen it in use but my son read it loads while he was there and loved it.

My youngest grandson has shown an interest in space craft so this was perfect book that can be read to him.

Such a beautiful book. Given as a gift and it went down a treat. The facts and the illustrations in these books are amazing and perfect for teaching children about hero’s present and past.

This is an interesting children's book from the Little People, Big Dreams series, which I really enjoyed reading. It is all about Neil Armstrong, and his life from when he was young until he died. He loved aeroplanes from when he was a young child, and when he was 16, he got his pilots license. He studied aeronautical engineering and he was in the navy, and after some time at war, he joined NASA and flew to the moon. The book has lovely illustrations and the text is easy to read, so young children will enjoy it. It is a good book, which would be great to have in a school library.

My space obsessed 5 year old loved this book. The little people books are so well written and we are building up a collection of them. My little one loved learning about Neil Armstrong and even chose to dress up as his for world book day. I think it’s so inspiring for little ones to hear these remarkable stories.
