Easy to setup.
Easy to install and set up. Works as directed. Was able to connect 4 sas hard drives without any issues. Start tech is a very good brand and has a ton of solutions. Have a ton of their products around.

Using it for LTO drives on an LSI SAS card. No problems.
This cable is:InexpensiveCompleteReasonably longSo far, error-freeJust get it in there, don't kink it, and you'll be absolutely fine.

FUNCTIONAL BUT NOT PERFECT NEEDS MOLEX TO SATA POWER ADAPTER! for LSI 9211-8i
So if you are looking to connect an LSI Controller(SAS9211-8i in my case) to an ENTERPRISE SAS drive NOT SATA, this is what you need. I looked all over for a used OEM cable without luck so this style cable was my only option. The quality of construction is VERY good in that the cables "appear" to be thick and all crimp points seem to feel solid. I did try to use a regular sata power cable from my modular PSU but the drive would not spin up. I saw another user needed to use a Molex to SATA Power adapter in order to fix this issue so I had one ready to go when I ended up with the same issue. My plan is to have a rather large HDD array for my PLEX server so i'm going to order a couple more of these cables and then a matching number of molex to sata power adapters and I should be set.

Great cable
The connections to each end of the cable are sturdy , fairly long ; overall my favorite home sas cable.

Not for a Dell Poweredge
It didn't have the power connector to work with a Dell Poweredge server. I added a Dell Perc RAID controller. The server was just cabled. This cable would not connect to the power on a Poweredge

Not Durable!
These cables work fine for a period of time and then start to degrade causing strange disk errors in my NAS/raid.I've gone through about 14 of these and a good quarter were bad or eventually turned bad.

Good cable, great price
Works great, well made, cable lengths were good for me.

Retuned
I consistently got failures on Cable #3, tried 3 different drives by 3 different manufactures. Half the time the RAID controller would pick-up the drive, half the time it just wouldn't appear. Could not debug the problem, returned the cable.
