Good solid signal once each output is selected and no issues when both outputs select different inputs. Short Blanking occurs when both outputs access the same input. Good deal for the money. Works good in a home setting where this blanking can be worked around or ignored.

5 Oct 17: UPDATE: The seller was quick to get in contact with me. They did reimburse me for the cost of the cable. They offered that I could keep the switch, but the only way I could get the refund was to return it, so that didn't work out. I did update my rating a couple of stars.Did not do what I wanted. I am trying to pass a DirecTV 2160 4K signal from the DirecTV mini to my television. It did not allow the signal to pass, even though Ibit (the seller) said it would. When I try to pass a 4K signal I get an error saying that my TV does not support 4K. However, when I have a cable straight from the DirecTV box to my TV, it works fine.I gave it two stars because it will pass a 1080 signal, which my previous switch would not do. I guess I'm getting closer to finding a solution. I ended up returning this switch.If anyone knows of a switch that will pass a 4K signal, please let me know. Thanks!

I had purchased initially giving a one star. The unit failed to work out I'd the box. I received a replacement today. There was minimal response from the seller. Well....today I got the replacement. This one did work. So far so good. I upgraded my review to a 3 star. However, I had no information on how to ship back the old unit. I would say it is ok, and worth the price. However, if performance is key, examine a higher price model.

No matter what I try, there is no signal come out of the output for 4k. Direct HDMI cable to the TV works fine so I know it is not cable or display issue. for 1080P once a while it will display after unplug and plug in power multiple times.

Alright so just to be clear, I purchased the 4x2 HDMI Matrix Switch with the SPDIF (Optical port). The past few days I have tried a few different HDMI switching boxes and this one was the worst by far! The reason I purchased this product is because I needed at least three HDMI input and two out (one for my TV and the other for a projector). I also needed it to have an optical port as well, so I wouldn't have to have another wire going to my projector. I cannot begin to describe how disappointed I am with this product. First off the product itself appears to be on the cheap when compared to other products. This product does not support auto switch. Programming it to my Harmony Ultimate remote was very easy, but afterwards it wouldn't properly switch inputs. Even with the IR remote that was provided wouldn't work correctly some of the time. Whenever you manually or use the remote to switch between two different inputs (even if it is to the same output) the sound from the optical port will stop working, which makes you have to constantly reset the Matrix! Very frustrating! Lastly the switching inputs takes a few seconds. While it is switching, you will briefly see a strange green screen (see picture) for a second or two before it goes normal. I am returning this product and will use FiveHome's HDMI switch because that one works flawlessly!

It works like magic, the only thing I'm having problems with is that if I ignore one screen for too long, it switches to another input. I currently have two outputs to two separate TV's with my laptop and Playstation 4 as the only two inputs at the moment. Example: TV1 currently has laptop using it as a dual screen. TV2 has Playstation playing for a family member. They walk away to go to the bathroom for a couple of minutes. Then, without prompt, TV2 switches to show my extended laptop screen showing on TV1. I don't know if its due to my TV's or if its the Matrix itself causing this strangeness. Otherwise, it works amazingly.

Used this to switch multiple hdmi inputs into my Karaoke system. It sounds great and does what it says.Reason for Docking 2 stars?Well, when you switch inputs, it is really hit or miss.I'd have to power off and on 2-3 times before it gets to the input I need.Otherwise, picture and sound quality is excellent. I have not had a chance to try the second output yet.
