Please note that I said these chairs are a good value. That doesn't mean that they are equal so some other chairs that you bought at 4 times the price. They are not. Notes about other reviews. I noticed several reviews discuss the instructions. Yea they are not great but they are not the worse either. All it takes to put these together is putting the right parts in the right place and putting in screws, washers and nuts. It's really not a big deal. Some points of help. These all deal with the cross braces. First, before you assemble the chairs get some lithium grease from Ace or where ever your you want and fill the ends of ALL the cross braces. This will keep water out of the spot welds and significantly decrease the opportunity for rust (as mentioned in some other reviews). Second at first glance the cross braces are all the same size. THEY ARE NOT!! One the top brace is shorter than the bottom. If you screw this up then stuff will not align properly (as mentioned in some other reviews). It is shown properly in the instructions if you study the picture. It helps if you have someone to assist when putting the chairs together just to hold pieces in alignment but I did it by myself with minimal expletives needing deletion. If your using a power drill as a screwdriver lower the clutch setting to middle to low end settings or you may strip the screws. This is not a manufacturing issue its an assembly issue for the unenlightened. The chairs are comfortable and and sturdy. I go about 245 and find the comfortable and strong. You may have to tighten the screws after some use but it's no big deal. I just got them together so I haven't had to. My wife also finds them very comfortable and a good height for her to use.

Easy to assemble, everyone likes being able to rock. I like that I can take them into the yard and not sink in like individual legs. They seem a bit shorter than previous chairs we had on our deck, a bit harder for some to stand from. Quality seems good. Dry quickly when wet.

Great chairs, very comfortable to sit in and at a great price Chairs arrived on time and were simple to assemble. Had a small tear in one of the seats. Call the Customer Service number that came with the chairs and got the replacement seat on order. That was a month ago, still not received the replacement seat. Over all 3 stars reflective of the replacement seat. Will be glad to adjust the over all score once the seat arrives. Don't feel it should take a month to send out the replacement. Updating to 5 stars now that I have received my replacement seat. The seller went out of there way to correct the problem for me once I escalated the issue with them. I would buy these again.

*** 2nd Update April 15, 2024: We are on out 3rd season with these Bali Spring Chairs. We have to total of 6. 2 were purchased 2-1/2 years ago, and 4 more were purchased less than a year later. We have 3 chairs that have the fabric seating or backing area torn on them. The tears are along the boas of the fabric. I believe the 3 that have torn were the 2nd batch of chairs we purchased. I notice that the price for these chairs now are under $90 per pair. That's about 50% of what I had purchased them for. So, it's apparent the seller knows about the quality issues. I've downgraded my review to a single star. We first purchased a set of these about a year ago. They assembled pretty well, and were sturdy enough for a 300lb friend who comes over regularly. They are very comfortable, and have a nice bounce to them. They did leak rust from the bottom of the frames after being out in the rain. And the fabric, although it's mesh, does not allow water to pass through, so they stay wet for quite a while after being rained on or after the morning dew. *** First update after about a year of owning: A few months ago, we purchased 2 more sets (4 chairs). 1 of the chairs assembled fine. The other 3 chairs were all off and had quite a bit of wobble. Of course I checked my assembly to make sure the bars were correct. When I lined to the left and right side "arms" close together, it was obvious that they had different bends to them, so the would not site flat when assembled. I contacted Customer Service, and they sent out new right sides that arrived in about 10 days. I used those to re-assemble, and only 1 side was better. I called Customer Service again, and they sent out 2 more. They were closer, but still not right. On all of the sides, the welds were not nearly as good or straight as the original chairs we purchased a year ago. So, I'd say the manufacturing quality has gone down.

These chairs went together extremely well! Very painless experience for this old married couple working together as a team. No swears escaped my lips for the simple reason that all chair parts and hardware were accounted for and no pieces were damaged or ill-fitting!😁 In light of some critical Amazon reviews, hubs and I would like to share some suggestions for folks who are going to order these: 1. Assemble your chairs under good shade, or indoors; 2. Keep the supplied hardware in separate shallow containers with their identifying letters; 3. If you’ve got your own tools, save yourself a lot of vexation and use a 10 mm socket-wrench for grasping the nuts; 4. For old fahts with cranky backs, try to use a table upon which to work and maneuver around. Our outdoor work table has rollers, which allowed us to chase the shade; 5. Take your time! Seriously, nothing good will come of rushing. Just follow the easy-peasy well-depicted diagrams. We completed both chairs within an hour to an hour and a half while listening to our rancher-neighbor serenade us with 18 separate rifle shots (prepping for a hunting trip?) If you have a passle of youngsters, rambunctious dogs, or are inclined to drinking whilst working, chances are the assembly process will take significantly longer. 😉 Enjoy your chairs!
