These are magnetic and very well made ; you cannot use as flashcards . They are just like the description and it is very important to teach children the lowercase letters... really more important than upper case!

The cards are nice and big and the letters are clear. We stick them either using the magnet or sticky tape on items around the house and our grandchildren love searching for them, naming the item and reading the letter the item begins with.

I bought this letter set to work with a reading program. The magnetic letter cards are easy to handle both for an adult and a child but yet they are durable. What I like is they are heavy enough to stay where ever you place them (table, floor or board). My student has used them to match, sound out letters/words, and build words with them. Great addition for parents or teachers to use with a reading program.

I liked the fact that I could get lowercase letters. These are very handy for word building on the white board and being seen from a distance which means I can use them in big or small group settings. They are bright and colorful and durable enough to be moved around by the students. They cling to the board much better than the traditional plastic letter magnets and are much easier to store.

The magnets are wonderful, but they do dent easily, so don't let biters touch! The main complaint is that the box that's supposed to hold them all came completely busted. Unusable. So have a container/basket ready to store these in.

I purchased several sets of flash cards from different companies to help my toddler learn and say more words. This is the best quality set out of 4 different sets we have. The pictures are large, clear and colorful. The full magnet on the back makes these safer to have around small kids. We have these on our fridge so our kid always sees them. The more he interacts by picking them up and moving them around, the more he tries to speak. It’s clear the maker put a lot of thought into these. My only suggestion would be to make these more water resistant because the water dispenser sometimes splashes on the cards and they absorb some moisture. For now we just move them away from the dispenser. My other request is for more of these cards for other words.

Nice thick magnetic cards. Worth the money

It may be a wee bit early to expect my 14 month old to learn her alphabet, but these Alphabet Flashcards are a great introduction for her. They are bright and colorful which is very appealing and also tough enough to withstand my little destroyer. The cards itself are thin and not too heavy which makes it easy to handle and carry. The are also coated which make them very easy to clean. I have mostly been using them as if they are regular flashcards (hand held), but they are magnetic. The magnet has a good hold, but not so strong that as my child gets older and plays on her own (word games), she will be unable to remove them herself. I have really enjoyed these cards thus far and my daughter has too.
