I was very pleased with the quality of this string. It makes great wicks for candles.

It's just string. It's not overly inclined to tangle or fray. I've cooked with it and hung outdoor holiday lights. It works fine.

This string isn't really bad, but it's not what I wanted. I ordered 12 ply, as in the description; what I got was 9 ply. I counted the actual strands / threads. 🧐 The threads are very, very thin. I wanted this for a craft project, but it's much too thin, and the ply is wrong. I don't use it for cooking, so I can't comment on that. Made in China - well, isn't everything, these days? The quality (or lack thereof) shows. Just my opinion, though. Maybe I just got a lemon? 🍋 lol Anyway, this string may be great for other uses - but not for me. 😐

it was a good quality for our project

Used it for decorating for a family BBQ/wedding shower inside a tent. Worked like a charm and held tight even though strong winds had many of the decorations blowing and spinning a great deal. Recommend!

Good sturdy cotton twine. Ties easily too.
