A good idea in a good build quality package
The cable has a very nice look and feel to it with the braided shield. Good build quality; the outlets on the plugs prevent twisting of the cable. The LED is not only nice to look at; it's actually quite practical. It makes the cable easy to find in dark surroundings. I use it in combination with my Anker charger (delivering up to 2,5 A per port) to charge my Nexus 6P, and it does so quite quick indeed.The 90 degree angle makes quite some sense, as it reduces the risk of damaging the plug or the inlet on your phone when it drops accidentally. And it doesn't get in the way when using your phone or tablet while it charges.I might actually order a few more for the tablets of my kids, and I can recommend it fully all of you who are considering this cable

Not simple to install but works great!
Flawless part but the effort to replace it is herculean! Not for the inexperienced as I have repaired many desktops and laptops for friends and family and this took me nearly 2 hours to simply get to the part...that is how deep into the chasis the power cord is on the Dell. Plenty of YouTube help for those in need however - just prepare to pack a lunch and it is worth the $10 for sure.

prefect fix
This cable provided exactly what I needed to fix a damaged power adapter on my son's Dell laptop. Multiple You-Tube videos walk through the cable replacement process (which requires patience and some degree of comfort in working with electronics), and made the replacement somewhat of a non-event. I was very pleased to see everything come back online and the notebook start charging again!

Worked for my wife's Dell model number P39F
My wife's laptop suddenly stopped charging. After confirming that the adapter was still working I guessed the power jack had failed. Purchased this product, followed a YouTube video that showed the repair and laptop is back up and working again. Thumbs up.

it works like a champ
So long as you make sure this is for your model, it works like a champ. Protects the interior pins instead of having them exposed which was the reason I needed to replace the stock one. Awesome product.
