This makes delicious coffee. Much more flavor than regular hot brewed coffee. A local café had this. The owner showed us how to make it. Get a scale and measure 100g of coffee. We use whole beans and do a medium grind. We like light city roasts. Despite the light roast, it comes out dark and full of flavor with this method. The unit looks great in our kitchen. My wife cleans it and I haven't heard her complaining about it, so I guess it's OK to clean.

Looks gorgeous, works as advertised. Why the two stars? The quality of the frame. It has been indoors the entire time, not abused in any way. And the wood started coming apart and cracking. The part that really blew me away was when I called the company. Having had this for two years now, I had no expectations of free anything however, you can't even purchase parts. They will gleefully sell you any glass part or gasket but under no circumstances any wooden parts. So be prepared to do some work or throw it away. I really didn't want to rebuild anything so, I glued the best that I could. The pictures tell the story. The end result was ok, you could only notice it if you examine up-close. But this should not happen in the first decade of ownership. Shotty quality.

The coffee it makes is superb. But for some wood and glass, it’s way overpriced. For example, the silver dollar sized paper you put on top of the coffee grounds? They want $1 for each one. It’s tissue paper. I got a bamboo one. The part where you slide the coffee grounds was so tight (not cut wide enough) that the glass broke on me when sliding it in last night. In hindsight, I would buy some the glass parts needed and build my own rack. Get the rest from the lab equipment glass section. Cheaper and better. If you can get over the build quality and the price gouging, the coffee ☕️ is incredible.

I've been a barista for more than 4 years. This cold brew maker passes all the tests. The glass quality is very good, better than I expected. Just be gentle with it and it will last you for a long time.
