I purchased an espresso machine. It is strongly recommended to use a water that not only will enhance / improve the coffee taste, but the water also helps to preserve the espresso machine boiler, keeping it limescale free. There are various coffee water recipes on the net. I purchased these to store alkaline buffer and magnesium mix, each. Content from each of these bottles are then added to one gallon of distilled water; to be used in an espresso machine. These bottles are heavy duty; the blue lid closes tightly and does not create a leak when stored horizontally. The ml markings on the bottle are suggestive. By no means they are accurate. I expected that so I utilize a scale for my accuracy needs. 1ml water = 1 gram I recommend these bottles.

Great quality glass. I use for storing a wide variety of things from chemicals to pantry/food liquids. Mouth opening is wider than I had assumed. Screw on lid fits good and snug.

These are good for the price, but there is a reason why they are so much cheaper than the Pyrex. Had one break when pouring hot water into the bottle, so make sure not to expose them to anything more than mild thermal shock. Will buy more but will also get some Pyrex ones for dealing with hot liquids.
