Well made, sturdy and almost always effective means of preventing flags from tangling. Almost always is the appropriate phrase.

I would definitely recommend this item. These are well made “spinning flag latches “ that attach directly to the flag pole. The attach easily, and work like a charm. I suggest putting a few drops of WD-40 or 3n1 oil on each spinner after attaching. The clips to hold the flag are very sturdy. You’re flag 🇺🇸 will never get wrapped around the pole again.

Worthless! Another highly rated Amazon product that is completely worthless. Kind of makes you wonder about this whole rating process! The cheap plastic swivels that come with the flag pole kits are 10X better. At least they spin. As soon as the metal ring clip contacts the metal of the wide collar it comes to a stretching stop. Lubricating first with silicone did nothing. Then. White grease. Still won’t move. Using the Allen wrench to slide the collar further apart did nothing. Might as well just screw the flag to the pole ! UPDATE : Apparently the revolving rings are stamped metal and as such have sharp edges. This is what made the rings difficult to spin. Upon use the ring edges smoothed and now spin very easily. No more daily flag unraveling! .

These aluminum rings are replacing the cheap plastic rings that came with the original flag pole kit. Th plastic rings disintegrated and broke after 9 months. I'm hoping that the new metal spinning rings will lasts as long as the pole.

Not for wet weather! Not for windy weather! Seems like that's part of the reason to buy something like this, right? I'd avoid these. They did not rotate well and the flag would get tangled. Also, after a few years the metal that the cheap aluminum caribiners connected to just wore away and failed. Good idea – but made very cheaply.

My old flag pole was still in good condition, but the mounting rings were just poor quality and did not work right. The flag would tangle and the bottom ring freely floated and would slide up the pole in the wind and my flag just looked terrible. I wanted to buy a new pole and stumbled on to these flag pole rings. They are made from aluminum alloy with a set screw to secure the ring to one position on the pole. So the top and bottom of the flag stay at a set separation. The set screw allows you to freely adjust the bottom ring for different flags and sizes. The rings have 360 degree rotating flag mounts with a spring loaded clip. This setup allows for free rotation of the flag in changing wind directions without tangling or wrapping around the pole. The clips are also super easy for clipping and securing your flag. Installation only took a few seconds for each ring, and they fit perfectly to my old 1 inch aluminum flag pole. These gave my old flag pole a new life and saved me some money. I am super happy that I bought them and I am positive that they are very durable. Now my flag pole will more than likely outlast me. These rings will fit any 1 inch pole and will work with any flag with grommets. I highly recommend these rings. I received them today, installed them immediately after arrival and tested them out. Medium winds, 4 hours later and a perfect flying flag. They are a fantastic deal and value for the price, and they will allow you to keep your existing pole. No more flag wrapping around the pole, twisting and folding together on itself. I rate this product with 5 strong stars.

I use them for some flags at festivals, for what I use them for, they are awesome. Granted have not let the flag fly during high winds, but perhaps I'll test it and let you all know
