i have a 2003 Jaguar and i need a replacement key fob, the dealer was talking about $300 just for the remote not to program it, i found 2 for way less than the dealer ship and program it myself with the correct tool and it works great. I love it

This was perfect for what I needed it for, the buttons were worn out on my old key fob. My key was actually exposed for the unlock and the lock button. The electronics I could see. So I bought two new key fobs and then took my old key apart and put the actual ignition key inside without getting it The new one cut. I have never tried to get a jaguar key cut, but I can only imagine the frustration.

This product is useless and for sure not worth the purchase. The guys said that this product is fraudulent.

I have a 2005 Jaugar X-type and the original FOB would only open the door, but not close it. This new replacement FOB already had a battery so all I needed was to program it and swap the half of the new FOB with the old FOB that had the physical key. They were easy to put together. This new replacement FOB works great!

When you buy this for $40, There are 3 more expenses to make them work in your car! #1. Cutting the TIBBI Blanks. that was a lock smith that invested $30,000 in a special Tibbi cutting machine. It took like 45 minutes of constant cutting and other things to do this. He must cut four sides of the blank with up to 8 cuts. Price $185 for the two fobs. #2. What I call the Customer programming for the touch buttons. it is unique by the one step that says, "using a good key fob, turn it from position 1 to 2, 4 times quickly. I call it the 1-2,1-2,1-2,1-2 step. or you can pay the locksmith to do it for a price. instructions on youtube. #3. The technical RFID programming. need a locksmith who invested another $30,000 for that little computer. Also, remember for this step, bring ALL Fobs for this step because he has to delete all RFID Fobs from your car's key fob memory, and then, reload them all along with the new fobs you are adding. so grab the wife's key fob, the backup fobs, the new fobs and your own fob that still works, None of them can work unless the locksmith reloads them. My locksmith didn't tell me this and I got there with my fob and two new ones. that means all 3 of the ones still at home are no longer useful to start the car. price $100 for two new fobs. but it is still less expensive than Jaguars $500 per new FOB!

I bought this aftermarket Jag key fob with my fingers crossed, based on some negative reviews. Well, it worked great! As it was the bottom end not working (remote buttons), I swapped my cut key for the new top end and snapped the two parts together. Using programming instructions found online, I was able to program the remote to my vehicle with very little hassle. I’m very happy with my purchase, and well worth the low cost!!

I purchased this remote as a cost savings option for replacing my original due to the circuit board falling apart. The fob works great but the labels on the buttons have completely worn off after six months of use..

The dealer wanted 500.00 . It was a breeze , extract the key portion off the fob and install on the new remote and program by directions on your manual . Very simple

Tan excelente que ya trae pila incluida instalada. Compré pilas para nada. Puse la parte de la llave original en la carcasa del control nuevo y queda exacta. Y la programación a la primera. Solo te subes al auto dejas la puerta abierta, le pones la llave le das hasta el punto antes del encendido y regresas. Esto es 4 veces o 4 llavazos seguidos y sacas la llave y le presionas cualquier botón. Te bajas del auto lo cierras y presionas el de seguros y verás que ya esta programado. Hay videos en youtube.
