Great Synth But Upgrade Your SD Card
Wow! Incredible little granular synth. Not many granular hardware options these days so Lemondrop is a welcomed addition to the current bloated synth landscape. If you understand the basics of granular synthesis and modulation, you should be up and running in no time. Despite the 1/8” TRS I/O, this thing sounds incredible. My only disappointment is the SD card supplied is a 32GB Kingston Canvas Pro that costs $5 on Amazon. It will likely fail, lose presets, etc. It’s a know issue and is discussed on the 1010 Music forums. 1010 Music suggest buying a higher quality card. I bought a faster and more robust San Disk card, updated the firmware and have had zero issues since. Keep in mind this thing loads the OS and streams the audio from the card. A faster card is definitely better w/ the LD in my experience. Pros: -Compact and powerful. -Fills the need for a powerful granular hardware synth. -Affordable -Easy to understand UI and great UX. -Beta firmware update adds great new features. -Fun Cons: -Supplied micro SD card is garbage. -While it feels solid, the body is all plastic. An aluminum face plate or shell ala the original Korg Kaos Pad mini series, would’ve been nice. -My screen is kinda crooked :/ Overall, I’m very happy with my Lemondrop and will be using on quite a few upcoming projects and LPs. Recommend!!

Awesome little synth
Don’t be put off by size. A classic. Spend a couple of hours with it and you will be making your own patches. Actually pretty simple to use but lots of capabilities. Rivals synths 2x the price. Huge and interesting sounds right out of the box but make your own and tap into limitless potential.
