I love using LECA, and this bag is excellent quality! The clay balls are clean, lightweight, and a nice mix of sizes. I usually add them to my chunky soil mix for extra drainage, but I also like to keep some on hand in case I want to try growing an orchid directly in it or use it for hydroponics. I want more of these. I wonder why these are better than pebbles, maybe because they hold some water. You can use them for partial hydroponics or just mix them in to make your own, customized substrate. This package was enough for one pot and a little more, so that is why I want more. I find they are most useful when you use them together at the lower half or more of the pot. Anyway - no complaints about dust etc. I did rinse them before use. But they worked well and did not disintegrate or anything bad.

These work great and the plants love them! They’re small enough to use even beached in small propogation tubes.

Works fine for all my plant needs. My only problem was I ordered 16lbs and the box I got with box weight was only 15.2 pounds. Not that big of a deal but a minor annoyance none the less.

Nice quality Pebbles, no bugs, and my plants responded immediately. It’s lightweight and perfect for indoor pots. The bag is definitely on the smaller side, though, so keep that in mind if you have multiple plants.

I used these to put in the bottom of a glass container, added a little dirt and put an anthurium on top. It made a beautiful display. There was enough that I can probably make 3 more of these.

I got this for setting up a 30 gallon terrarium as I wanted something lighter weight than rocks. This is much lighter than rocks and and the nature of the balls will make drainage great. I did rinse the pebbles before adding to the tank as that should be done first. the 14 pounds was plenty and I had some left over and my wife will be using that for potting house plants in the future.
