My first impression was how much the box weighed when I received it. After opening the box, it was obvious why; it's incredibly well built. It seems to be entirely made out of metal, with a premium paint job, which will likely stand up to the elements extremely well. Especially if you are mounting it underneath a tree which occasionally drops branches. The only negative I have regards the power adapter cord; it's thin, which can be a concern if something get's snagged on it. Installation was a breeze: it comes with a mounting plate that you first attach to where you plan to install it, and then the camera hooks onto that, which is held in place by a set screw. A nice touch is that they provide mounting screws, as well as anchors if you need them. A surprise inclusion in the box was a set of tweezers; I assume for making it easier to remove the SD card. Really a nice touch. Setting it up was straightforward, made easy by the CamHiPro app. Simply make sure your logged into your wifi on your phone, open the app, snap a QR code on the top of the camera, and enter your wifi password. From there, you can easily view and control the PTZ functions via the app, as well as manage all the other settings, be it video quality, AI feature detection, input and output volume, and so much more. Speaking of video quality, I'm very impressed by it so far. Great resolution, frame rates, and color accuracy. Having an optical zoom is great, as the video quality is retained as you zoom in on an object. All said, it's a quality piece of hardware, would recommend!

I bought 2 of these hoping to get them to work with my inexpensive OOSSXX NVR. It does work with a little effort. Dont bother trying to connect directly to the NVR and match code. Didnt work on mine anyway. What did work is connecting to a different port on my router or a network switch. Download the search tool from sv3c on a computer. Search and it will find the camera. Copy the IP address into a browser and use admin for both user and password. You should be connected to the cam. Select PC View. Under settings go to network tab. Change to a static IP. I left mine on the home network segment but they recommend you change it to the ip range of your nvr. After that, go to the wifi option and search for you wifi. Input your user and pass for that and your good. Disconnect the ethernet cable and test to see you still have a connection Another thing I noticed is the width or visual field in much more narrow the my wide angle still cameras. It looks almost like it is at 2x zoom compared to the standard cameras. So mount these as high as you can and far back from the area you want to monitor unless you have a large area to monitor. Support was helpful but not available on the weekend. Video quality is better than my wide angle cameras that are also 5MP and the optical zoom is great. I can check on the neighbor's yard 3 houses down. LOL. Worth the money but not really plug and play. Im a semi- techie so I managed to figure it out. Hope these steps help but the support at SV3C will walk you thru if needed. I would buy this again.

Far back of my yard there is a pretty water retention pond. During winter times it is covered with ice, I noticed there are many footprints right after fresh snows. I am always interested to see what are those animals, as it appears there are at least a handful of different types. So I installed this camera. As from the picture you can see they are high quality with clear resolution. Even at dark night the images are crystal clear. With flash lights from the powerful IR-LED lights, it gives night vision for very large range. The PTZ function and humanoid motion detection and tracking works really well. The camera is well built with high quality materials. Setup is easy and straightforward. I look forward to find out the mysterious in more winter times with heavy snow.

This camera is actually pretty solid, and when it works - it is great. The pictures are clear and the zoom feature is great. The accompanying app is ok, but can be better and features are limited. So - overall - a decent ip camera. However, durability is an issue. About 6 months into use, I began experiencing problems where I was unable to have the camera connect to my network. Contacted tech support (Cherry) who was helpful and offered suggestions to remove special characters from my password and reset the unit. Both approaches worked, then the camera will die off. Turning the power on and off works every so often. As of the 29th, one day after a year having purchased the product - the unit is completely dead. Very disappointed in the durability and reliability for a product that offers potential. These things should last more than a year. Two of my other SV3C products have issues as well, while one has been operating flawlessly. These have potential, but in my opinion - continue to research options and return if you don’t feel comfortable as it may save you from the hassles and ultimately a non functioning product.

Habe die Kamera seit mehreren Monaten am Kamin auf dem Dach installiert. Benutze sie zur Wetterbeobachtung und Anfertigung von Wolkenzeitraffern (iSpy). Mit LAN-Kabel, nur auf PC. Vorteile: Sehr robust, wasserdicht, strotzt allen Stürmen, Regen und praller Sonne (weisse Version). Scheibe verschmutzt kaum, wird vom Regen gereinigt. Sehr guter Zoom. LEDs im sichtbaren Bereich können auch nachts die Szenerie farblich erhellen, allerdings auffällig. Gut einbindbar in iSpy, Browsern, View auch in VLC-Player (Anleitungen auf Webseite). Nachteile: Der Autofocus hat mitunter Probleme bei der Scharfstellung wenn wenig Kontraste vorhanden sind, besonders bei Nachtaufnahmen. Da habe ich Kameras, die das besser können. Die Weitwinkeleinstellung könnte weitwinkliger sein. Bei der Anzeige in Browsern (Chrome, Firefox, Edge...) ist es mir trotz aller Anleitungen nicht gelungen, die volle Auflösung darzustellen, es geht maximal so etwa 1024*575. Es klappt aber in iSpy und VLC. Kein Blick leicht nach oben möglich, die Kamera muss also immer oben montiert werden um möglichst herab zu schauen. Die mitgelieferte Software für PC ist etwas komplex, da ist eindeutig iSpy zu empfehlen.

Schneller versandt. Hi und da verliert sie den norden, dann muss ich sie wieder neu einrichten. Habe von der selben marke noch 2 Camaras die super funktionieren Schade

Ich besitze mehrere dieser Kameras um mein Haus im Auge zu behalten. Die Ptz Funktion ist für die Ausrichtung bzw Installation sehr von Vorteil weil man die Kamera beim installieren nicht genau ausrichten muss. Das macht man dann im Nachgang. Die Nachtsicht ist auch sehr gut durch die verbauten IR Strahler. Ich benutze aber noch zusätzlich ir Strahler um das Gelände besser auszuleuchten. Zusätzlich ergänzen sich mehrere Kameras mit den IR strahlen. Eine SD Karte mit max 128gb nimmt alles auf, ich empfehle aber einen NVR. Der hat auch eine Software mit der der Zugriff von extern sehr gut klappt, ohne NVR ist die Software Camhi Pro auch sehr gut oder Tinycam. Der Zoom ist auch ausreichend wenn das Gelände das zu überwachen ist nicht sll zu groß ist. Alles im einem eine sehr gute Kamera. Ich empfehle sie auf jeden Fall weiter.

Verpackung stoss- und bruchsicher. Zubehörteile waren gut in Schaumstoff verpackt. Die Kamera selbst wirkt sehr wuchtig, lässt sich aber problemlos mit beiliegenden Montageadapter montieren. Anschluss und Einrichtung erfolgt einmalig per LAN Kabel, danach kann die Kamera wie gewohnt per WLAN betrieben werden, oder aber man lässt das LAN Kabel direkt dran. Stecker und Anschlüsse sind per Kappen dicht gegen Spritzwasser. Was mich am meisten überzeugt hat ist der extrem gute 15 fache Zoom. Habe ein Video angehängt. Allgemein ist die Bild- und auch Videoqualität sehr überzeugend. Beim drehen und verfolgen ist die Kamera kaum hörbar.Das Menü per Camhi Pro App ist intuitiv und gut zu verstehen. Da wir etwas außerhalb am Waldrand wohnen, werde ich die Kamera final am Antennemast anbringen und somit das komplette Grundstück überwachen. Dafür ist sie ideal geeignet.

Die Kamera kommt sehr hochwertig daher für den Preis. Das Gehäuse ist aus Aluminium und sehr stabil. Die Aufhängung ist aus Metall und auch sehr stabil. Die Kamera ist schnell in Betrieb genommen, auch ohne viel Ahnung geht das in wenigen Minuten. Über die App lässt sie sich einfach steuern, einerseits kann man mit dem Finger auf dem BIld die Kamera bewegen oder man nutzt die Navigationstasten. Auch auf Nacht sind die Bilder sehr scharf (aus Datenschutzgründen nur ein kleiner Ausschnitt). Besonders toll ist der Zoom (erstes Bild), der 15x fach optisch heranzoomt. Ich habe das mal dargestellt, das Bild ist nicht so super scharf, weil es nur ein Screenshot ist. Die Kamera zoomt automatisch heran, wenn sie eine Person erkennt. Fazit: Echt kaufenswert, super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, hohe Qualität.
