This is exactly what I was looking for. It’s NOT “solid” memory foam. It’s filled with memory foam stuffing so that there’s more ability to shape it to your comfort and provide a little more “give” while still being fairly supportive. It DID come vacuum packed and had to have time to expand - but that’s normal for memory foam products. If you fluff it periodically a few times over the first day, you can help the foam expand faster and more completely.My only complaint is the overwhelming chemical smell from the foam. It’s very strong when you’re near it, so if you can place it on a porch for a couple of days - safe from inclement weather - and let it air out, I would strongly advise doing so.

I bought this pillow because I just had a baby and wanted to be able to nurse her in bed. So far, it has been just what I was looking for - holds its shape and stays in place while I lean on it, and it supports me if I'm sitting up or slouching back. It's more firm than sleeping pillows, with just enough plushness to feel really comfortable. I wish it came in more colors (my bedroom is teal, white, and brown). I also wish the cover was removable. Given what I need to use it for, it's going to collect some milk stains pretty quickly.

arrived fast, is just as advertised. might be a tad *too* firm but that's ok. It still works great for sitting up in bed, as well as sleeping in a nearly upright position for better breathing - which is the main reason i got it.... allergies make it impossible to breathe while laying down, so if i sleep sitting nearly upright i can avoid being the dreaded mouth breather, LOL, and this does the trick. Much better than trying to stack up a pile of regular bedpillows which always fall over - this stays in place and I can actually sleep. Bravo!

This deluxe reading pillow gave her the relief and comfort that she needs while she did just that.Mom had been using a sleeping pillow while reading in bed, but found that it was not comfortable and that her back hurt even more, so she started reading less in bed. I know how much she loves her private reading time in bed, so when I gave her this reading pillow she absolutely loved it.Today, she spent time reading in bed. She used her new reading pillow and told me that she felt much better. Mom says that the reading pillow has a soft fabric, yet it gives her firm support.I really love the way this lounge pillow came wrapped up in a thick plastic that kept it sterile and clean. Not like many reading pillows that I have seen in stores.This reading pillow has a good generous size and gives firm and full back support. It also has two generously sized, and comfortable armrest. This lounge pillow is beautifully designed in a soft velour fabric in a rich grey color. I think it would fit into any decor and would look great in every home. The fabric is also easy to clean with a damp cloth. This reading bed pillow also has some cute extras like storage pockets on both sides of the armrest and a handle on top for easy positioning.Overall, I am so happy that I gave this reading lounge pillow to mom, and I’m extra happy that mom loves it!I totally recommend this as Reading Pillow as a gift or as a pillow that you can use in your home.

I used to love to read or watch tv in bed especially when I wasn't feeling well but fighting with my sleeping pillows to try and get some comfortable back support took so much of the pleasure out of it that I quit doing it. So I was so happy when I found this reading pillow!! I had had one ages ago when I was a kid but I hadn't seen one in stores in decades so I thought they didn't make them anymore.Not only do they still make them but this one is FAR BETTER than the ones they made back in the day!! For one thing, even though it's well stuffed and gives good back support, it's not a heavy brick and it has a handle on the top for easy maneuverability and portability. The shredded foam stuffing is sooo comfortable!! The old ones were one solid (and hard) piece of foam so that when it went flat, that was it - there was no fluffing it back up so you had to toss it. I also really like that there are pockets on the side of each arm for remotes because this way you don't lose them in the bed covers or have them fall off the bed when you shift your legs or worse, accidentally sit on it when coming back to bed (been there, done that). The velour cover is very soft but not thin and flimsy and the seams are well stitched. I can easily see this pillow lasting me for years!Do yourself a favor and buy this pillow!!! You won't be sorry!!

This is great, really working out. When first opened, it seems like it will never plump up, but it will. Shake it and fluff it up for a few minutes, and by next day for sure, it’s all filled out and fat. This pillow could be bigger though, that’s the only reason it’s not 5 stars. This could be even bigger and even cuddlier, but it’s great as is. Company should consider making an XL size that’s about twice as big that you could really cuddle up in, in bed. Keep doing good stuff!

Finally, i now have a pillow that has all of the features I've been looking for - for quite sometime. First of all, I have severe stenosis in my lower back and I sit a lot (computer work and driving truck from job site to job site) so at the end of the day needless to say I have issues trying to get comfortable. i recently bought a portable computer desk to use in bed and my normal pillow was just not doing the trick....Along comes the Reading Pillow and WOW what a relief. I can now sit in bed with my computer and take the pressure off of my lower back. Previous pillows have been to hard causing me to be pushed forward, but this pillow is firm but allows me to relax against it. All-in-all this pillow offers great support, it's comfortable, the material is incredibly soft and it is versatile as proven by our college-age daughter when she layed on the couch with it to watch a long movie. This is a winner.
