Q: What is a compatible 24" bed extension for the #70-150VSR?

you can use the 70-901 but I believe you might want the 903 as you can attach it for use to do outboard turning.

Q: What is the difference between the 70-150 vsr and the 70-250 vsr? do they have a variable frequency drive?

Length of the bed 16" between centers , the swing is about half of an inch less with the 150. same motor. but the motor controls you can move around to what suits you. the 220 has been discontinued as I understand but they are available just not here I believe. anyhow the 220 has 20" between centers, it cannot do any outboard turning as you can with the 150. the 150 is pretty much the same except shorter. 5lbs lighter I believe the VSR means variable Speed rheostat. therefore they are both a Variable Speed Drive, NOT! a VFD I believe the Nova DVR Lathes have the VFD.

Q: What are the dimensions of the shipping box?

the box that my 220 came in was over 4' in length and 2' in depth it's well packaged.
