I can't say much about the ease of installation as my father did it for me, but if he managed I'm sure it couldn't be that hard. I love the look of them, the matte feel is nicely smooth to the touch and for the price I am happy. Smooth mechanism to use.

Missing parts, 3 boxes come with missing trim ring. Impossible to install. Scratch easy paint come off. I bought 5 of them and need to throw 3 away. The other 2 i need to get spare part from screwfux. No way to contact seller for refund. I would have put zero Star if there's an option.

We have these on every door in our house now. They are really nice. Had one fail on us, but the others are great.

Product arrived with no instructions included, which if installing your first mortice lock and especially first lever on rose mortice lock, makes the installation process much more time consuming and frustrating than it should be and installation errors much more likely. Each handle feels heavy and solid, however both had minor dings exposing silver through the black finish on some edges, despite being well packaged. These are small enough that they aren't noticeable unless inspecting the handles, but does make me doubt that the finish will be hardwearing. Installed, the handles only turn about ~40 degrees, in comparison to the roughly 70 degree rotation of our other mortice locks. Turning the handles feels quite stiff and they remain down/open rather than returning to the up/engaged position. So whilst the build quality feels solid, functionally they feel cheap — which these handles relatively are, but we've had better experiences with cheaper handles in the past. It's possible (but unlikely) some of this could be installation error, but again no instructions were provided. Though the brand name they're sold under is XFORT, these are apparently made by MAHER LONDON LTD Locks, and neither they nor their resellers provide instructions online as far as I've found.

Handles and latches are great. The problem is the fixings. 1. The screws (with the exception of the hinges screws) are crap quality. I have managed to put none in without stripping the threads. I am being as careful as I possibly can, but no luck. The screws need to sit flush to the handle so I haven’t managed to find replacements yet, this has doubled my install time & lowered the quality of the final finish. 2. These are made for a door thicker than 40mm. As mine are 40mm thick I have had to cut every screw with pliers….absolute nightmare.

Screws threaded easily and the locking mechanism broke before fully fitting it. Had to send back
