Expensive but quality gear
This stand is super sturdy and well made. The base is super heavy to ensure it won't tip over. It is packaged with a rubber ring around it, and I actually like to keep it on - it makes it easy to roll around. The feet is covered with felt so that it cushions the fall while putting it down. The included strap holder makes it easy to hang anything with a strap on it. I just have three complaints about it. It is overall too expensive for what it is. Quality is great for sure, but I'd like to buy more when I see the price come down for a bit. It is also a bit too shaky when handling cameras on it. For anything else, like lights, it should not be a problem. But I always have to make sure it is stable before recording. The third complaint is that there is no locking mechanism between the monopod and the base. It is a little too easy to twist to loosen the monopod. So in future iterations, I'd like to see some kind of lock to ensure it stays tight.

Love it
Love this stand. Very sturdy and well made, I don't have to worry about anyone tripping over this like the tripod stands. It's easy to use, easy to set up and break down. It has the perfect weight to it so that it doesn't easily tip over and stays stable. One thing is, It is a bit pricey, wish they could throw in a carrying case for this stand and it could offset the price...just a thought

This round base monopod has turned out to be so helpful and is of very good quality. The round base does not take up a large footprint like a typical tripod does. so I can easily move it around from room to room. In other words, because it is flexible I can easily bring it wherever I am filming in my house. This has been especially helpful when I need to quickly put the camera in front of me on my computer desk. And sometimes when filming something on my floor (for example an unboxing video), well, this monopod is the perfect height and simply does not get in the way or in the shot (like tripod legs always seem to do). They even provide a thin layer of padding that you can stick to the bottom of the base. Honestly, I've purchased a few iFootage products so far, and I have not been disappointed yet.

Could be a touch higher. Doesn't come with ball head to attach a camera.

Brilliant sturdy monopod, I have it mounted on my sound desk and use it for recording video, the size is perfect for me, I can extend it over the height of people for a clear view, easy to set up although it looks like it's upside down with the smaller section on the bottom and the bigger section on the top, but all in all its a very good buy, I'm happy with it.

I love the form factor and the round base. Still waiting on the Cobra 3 tripod and hope it is as good a quality. I Recenlty purchased the Sirui SL 200, and it's also an excellent extension piece. If I had to choose one over the other, the SL 200 wins by a hair, good thing I don't, both units are great and serve their purpose well!
