I bought this as a retirement gift. The owner loves it. He is 6'4 and the larger 44mm dial fits him. The watch came in quality Longines packaging, and all brand new paperwork. The steel is very well machined, and the dial, case and crystal are exactly as clean as you would expect for the price of the watch. I would recommend this as fantastic alternative to a Rolex submariner.

El paquete llegó un día antes de la fecha estimada inicialmente, por tanto, eso estuvo muy bien. Sobre lo que importa, puedo decir que estoy recontento. Como cualquier reloj, hay detalles que podrían ser mejores sin duda, una de esas, la luminosidad de la carátula, pero, siendo honestos, ¿cuántas veces mira uno el reloj en completa oscuridad? Otra cosa que me pareció curiosa, que no me molesta en realidad, es que el bisel no es completamente dentado para darle vuelta, a las 12 y a las 6 es plano, supongo que fue una decisión de diseño, en fin, no me importa que sea así. Y pues de lo más chulo, que son varias cosas, es la carátula, los números grandes para que se vea y los índices de la hora de punto también tienen su ondita y el segundero con ese toque de color en la punta. El brazalete se siente bien hecho y pesadote, algo que se agradece, no tintinea como los de otras marcas. He leído que algunos se quejan de la ventana con la fecha, bueno, pues que no lo compren si no les gusta, a mi me parece muy adecuada. Por último, la cuerda le dura 3 días, eso está de lujo, así que si se tienen otros relojes, se pueden usar para después regresar a éste al cuarto día y sin tener que ajustarlo porque ya se detuvo, aunque a decir verdad, podría ser el único reloj en el closet, que no se necesitan más, sirve para lo que sea, para cumplir con las obligaciones del godinato, para visitar a las tías, para aquellas dos veces al año que invita a su esposa a cenar y hasta para usarlo para lo que fue hecho, para meterse al agua con él, que por algo tiene resistencia de 300 m. No lo invito a que se endeude, quien soy yo para decir semejantes barbaridades, pero si le alcanza, considérelo como una compra que lo hará sentir muy satisfecho, no estoy diciendo que los objetos sean necesariamente motivo de alegría, sería un exceso, pero tome en cuenta algo, estos relojes que ya exceden cierto precio y se conoce que son de buena hechura, no duran unos años, duran varias vidas, sin problemas, se lo podría heredar a su hijo o algún nieto dentro de 40 años y seguirá siendo una máquina perfectamente funcional, si lo cuida bien, que tampoco se necesita de un cuidado meticulosísimo para que un reloj siga operando regularmente. Tal vez la única advertencia es que este modelo es de 44 mm que bien parece de 45 o 46, por tanto, si usted o la persona a quien se lo vaya a regalar tiene muñecas de niño de secundaria, mejor busque una versión más pequeña, de 39 o 41 mm. En fin, creo que a diferencia de otros objetos, un reloj no solamente no tiene ese carácter desechable, como casi todo lo que la sociedad de consumo produce, sino que puede adquirir un valor estimativo muy grande porque su propia duración permite que pasen a manos de otras generaciones. Cómprelo si puede, no se va a arrepentir.
