Great Hotend assembly! Some reviews mislead IMO so I will clarify
This is a great hot end. It looks good and functions really well also.Read a few different things in reviews that made me hesitate slightly.First this will fit anything that normally would fit an E3D V6 hot end. Be it an authentic or clone extruder. This works in my V6 afterburner, as well as a very custom gantry I have with a titan extruder clone. If you have a Voron you would use dragon mount and need to remove the V6 adapter (hope the ones who had fitment problem see this. V6 adapter is attached, remove it for Voron dragon mount) The length of this is also roughly equal to an E3D v6 as well. Just set your z height or z-offset as normal after install.YOUR EXISTING THERMISTOR IS FINE! You do not need to get cartridge thermistors to use this. They were nice enough to give a tube that your glass thermistor will go into and it works great. The only issue (if you want to call it one) that I had was that the normal clip on fan for the V6 did not fit. So I had to design something to use for my custom installation. This issue doesn't exist in one like an afterburner.Overall has been running well after a few prints. Happy with this hot end.

Great Phaetus alternative
Cheap Phaetus alternative that performs just as good as the Phaetus. I like the open design that lets the heatbreak dissipate heat faster.

Nice hotend but, need some work to make it fit.
Like - the plated heater block, thermistor cartridge, heatsink, nozzle.Dislike - the groove mount was less than 12mm dia. I had to shim it to fit my v6 groove mount. My v6. had a groove mount slightly larger than 12mm and the red lizzard groove mount was slightly less than 12mm so I had to shim the red lizzard to make the mount tight.Overall I like it. I wish there was an option which included a HT thermistor and heater. I had to source those separatly.

Great, budget hotend for upgrading a printer.
Not the highest flowing hotend but it works well for the price. Heat ups SUPER quick compared to a stock ender hotend. The copper nickel plated nozzle that comes with it works really well.

High quality upgrade hot end
The media could not be loaded. I have had my ANYCUBIC kossel 3-D printer for many years now and it has always been a nice articulate fast printer until recently. It started clogging and no matter what I tried it kept clogging inside the throat of the hot end. this would seem like an easy fix by replacing with an identical, hot end but two or three different hot ends later, it was still clogging even with an added fan. I tried all different amounts of retraction, temperatures, and placements of the heat break relative to the hot end so as a last ditch effort I ordered this fancy hot end and installed it. It is shorter than the original height for this device and so it sits down, making the access to the PFT tube clip somewhat difficult however, it prints beautifully from the very first print, and I have no complaints whatsoever. it required no adjustment whatsoever.

the only hotends i use!
i have got five of these for my printers. the quality is great and the thermistor and heater are easy to replace if needed. they are easy to modify and install with a bunch of different types of machines. the nozzles they come with should be replaced with hardened steel but for a start they’re ok!

Direct replacement / alternative to the Phaetus Dragon hot-end
Its an almost perfect replacement for the Phaetus dragon HF hotend. You have to remove top V6 bit and put in the stabilizing screws through the heat brick to stop the spin when you remove your tip. But these are easy to do and everything is included. There is even a thermistor cover so you can just crip in a standard glass thermistor. Price and general availably it key here. It is hard to get a Phaetus dragon HF hot-end at a reasonable price and generally hard to source it in general. Not really sure why that is but those 2 points are likely why you are reading this.If you are on the fence... Go for it, be ready to do the changes I mentioned above and you will be happy with the results.
