This is an excellent toy and makes an excellent gift for kids above the stated age on the box. The only issue with this item is that the previous version of the toy is still being sold and it’s defective! This version is water proof and the box will state that it’s water proof and safe for your kid to be in the water with the toy. Waaaaaaait a minute, so the previous version people complained water was leaking into the compartments and it was breaking. Okay, then they come out with a new version and advertise that it is now safe for your child to play with while sitting in the body of water with the toy. So the other toy was never safe. The other version that was made for water wasn’t safe in the water and there was a possible electrocution hazard because it is not water proof. Why is it still being sold? Make sure the version that you purchase says new, water proof and safe.

My son was very excited, he ask for this toy for his 5th birthday. The tail broke the first day, I tried to “fix” it after a month but even if the dinosaur is synced with the remote control, it turn off and on by itself. At one point you don’t know if is working or just floating, I haven’t seen it going fast at all. Now is too late to return it.

My nephew absolutely loves this. Only thing is that it’s best to play with in water as the parts are easy to detach.

All arrived on time and in perfect condition. Instructions were very simple.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It’s too slow. Hard to operate. The tail keeping falling off. The idea is good but the product need updates like increase the size of the propellers or the power. It’s very difficult to drive because the remote it’s not appropriate like if I want the toy to go straight it doesn’t go.

Worked for only a few days and kept falling apart.

This was the best Christmas gift I bought this year, and I bought a lot! It looks cool right out of the box! It has a remote controller and it swims all over and sprays water which looks blue because of the light it has. All the kids wanted one after they saw it! If you're thinking about buying one don't...Buy two or three!!!
