Works great for old system
I found my old Atari from when I was a kid, and the old joysticks were no longer viable. I was excited to see that I could purchase these after market joysticks. They work perfectly on this old system. Great find!

Just about good enough
If you're in need of a replacement atari controller, this one will work. It does not have the same fit and feel as the originals, and feels like it may not last long, but so far it has let me get back into those classic games!

Game controllers
This was what the doctor ordered. Replaced my wireless controllers with something that works. Atari preloaded game system.

I think it’s based on the original design.
One of the joysticks lasted only two days until it was broken. In full disclosure, it was used to play a track and field game. Anyone knows the original design also had problems with track and field games and breaking. Luckily I was able to 3-D print a replacement part and got the joystick up and running again. I would give it 4 1/2 stars. If half stars were available, other than not taking the abuse, they are of excellent quality.

flimsy plastic
i bought two of these. they both broke playing donkey kong on the second time i used them. one worked for about an hour of play, and the other made it about 20 min. ironically, the original 40 year old joystick is still plugging along

Atari knock off controllers are good but definitely not the real deal
As we know, nothing is made like it was back in the day. These controllers are made of a cheaper plastic as well. With that being said, they are still holding up with a 5 & 7 year old using them. So they are still durable. I do think they should cost less than they did but as I said. It’s for my grandsons.
