I am re-ordering this item because I was so happy with the first pair of filters. They have lasted me well over a year with very heavy use in areas with pet hair, and moving into two new places in that time that were dusty and cob-webbed when I arrived. I also use the vacuum that these filters are in to cllean out my car once a week - you know how much pollen, dirt, and what-not gets dragged into our cars!Here's a tip: the spongy part does not need to be thrown away when it gets thick with dust. I washed them out by rinsing under super hot water, then soak in hot water with soap (I often used the kitty's flea & tick shampoo to be sure I am also getting out anything I may have vacuumed up from pet areas.) Then rinse once more and air dry.I buy the filters in 2-packs so I can put a fresh one in my vacuum while the other air dries in the closet.I have mold sensitivities and mild-to-moderate pollen allergies, and these filters were helpful to me in that regard. People with severe allergies may need something more high-end.Highly recommend.

I purchased my Shark Rocket Professional NV480 vacuum two years ago and it was my first real vacuum purchase.Before that I was just a single guy in an apartment or a dorm with some sort of cheap hand me down vacuum.Right away I could see and smell the difference of having a new high powered vacuum. I have a small pet rabbit, Thumper, who sheds so I vacuum every week.Well a few short months ago the vacuum started to smell really bad so I cleaned as many parts as I could. Naturally I went to google and YouTube to find the solution.Turns out it was these internal filters were the problem and needed to be replaced.OEM filters were not readily available so o went with this product.They look exactly the same and my vacuum is working like new! No smells! Very happy!I would highly recommend this product if you have a compatable shark vacuum.

I'm so happy with this purchase. Many people think vacuums lose suction over time, but it's generally caused by poor maintenance. My Shark Vacuum slowly started loosing suction after using a powder carpet cleaner/deodorizer. I realized that the fine powder made it's way into the filter blocking the exit port.Switching to the new set was a breeze.Step 1: push button to remove collection cupStep 2: Remove filters below collection cupStep 3: Install new Filters in same orderStep 4: Insert collection cup, & You're done!I'll continue buying these filters and extending the life of my vacuum. It's cheaper than getting a new vacuum and more environmentally friendly. You should too.

Suction not as strong with these 3rd party foams. Compare it yourself. Get a carpet odor eliminator powder. Use a brand new foam of an original vs these 3rd party ones. You’ll see a difference. Too bad I’m not financially stable enough to stick with the original ones.

The filters are a perfect fit for my Shark Vacuum. The filters came promptly and they are washable for a couple of times before replacing. Good product. Good service.
