So i have had other mouse pads / desk pads. I bought this one because my others were too large. This one is very nice and has the rubber backing to prevent slippage and has the threaded edges. It is beautiful to look at. I would highly recommend this product if you are in the market for a desk mouse pad.

I returned another from this company because the colors were overly vivid. This one is more my style. Its shaded well enough to notice the pretty design without being so bright its distracting. Very nice.

I bought this for my teenage son for Christmas. He absolutely loves the look and feel, and it works great as a mouse pad.

I have been using it for 2 months and so far, so good. No complaints.

The mat seems of good quality, the back is rubbery, the front is a smooth cloth. The design is also good quality, I was worried it could be blurry, but it's not, very sharp. The mat stays in place when you use your keyboard/mouse. I haven't had the occasion to try cleaning it yet.Regarding the other review about the smell, it doesn't smell bad at all, just a little bit of a "new clothes" or "new shoes" smell like in a clothing store, but it will probably dissipate quickly, I don't smell it unless I put my nose on it.
