We just bought land and are getting ready to build a house. This book was very helpful and we used ideas from the different floor plans. It really helps to see something in black and white - photos were great.

Very pleased with the home plans book. Exceeded expectations. Lots of plans to look at from small homes to larger luxury homes. Although it focuses on 1 story plans, there are plans with optional 2 story bonus rooms, and additional living space. 5 stars for me.

1 Story Home Plans Updated 4th edition, may not be for everyone, but we found more than enough to justify the modest price in just one evening. My wife and I are looking to downsize from our older 1700 sq ft house to an open and fun style plan we can call our home. Our target range is 1200-1500 sq ft. The specs are small, but gives a good idea of the lay out and decent quality pics of most homes we were interested in.

It was very detailed and I love that it showed pictures of homes in the inside as well. It was great because it wasn't just a floor plan.

This was fun to look over with my wife. We had a lot of spirited conversations as we're excited to build our custom dream home. That being said, with no benchmark to measure against, this book was just okay. I can never recall paying for a catalogue before but this was just a that. There was no organization to any of it just page after page of 1 story homes. Spartan hunting cabins paired along side 5000 sq foot luxury homes no rhyme or reason. I few quick articles in the middle. The individual layouts weren't uniform some were renderings some were built and decorated. Some had bonus views some did not. Pictures were nice but some too small to read details. I think we were the target audience family just starting there home building dream out I cannot imagine getting a serious feel for a new home from this book.

We have chosen several plans to consider. Best book of plans we have found. Pictures are great.

Great photos. Easy to read. Print is dark enough and large enough to read without a magnifying glass. Reader can get entire feel of house, both interior and exterior. Very good book.

Great book! Lots of great designs for all different sizes and styles of homes.

Sehr schönes Buch, gefällt ein immer wieder, besser als die langweiligen Hauskataloge hier in Deutschland. Auch wenn es nur Ideengrundlage ist, aber sehr große Auswahl.

Hundreds of plans to choose from. Great pictures in color, descriptions and measurements.
