The item is fine, but what I didn`t like was the fact that it stated that this was handed directly to me. It was 1:30am when I heard someone opening my screen door and it frightened me very badly. I thought someone was maybe trying to get in the house. They said it would be delivered before 9pm which is still rather late, but 1:30am is ridiculous and is not acceptable. I won`t open the door to anyone at that hour no matter how good the item is or how badly the wind is blowing outside.

Over all, I have found ALA to be a very good product for my health. The addition of Carnitine assists in burning calories in the gym! My only reservation is that I would have preferred a 400/400 blend...

Acetyl L-Carnitine and ALA are most beneficial when taken at the same tme, and this supp is a great value for that. It is much less expensive than buying them seperately.

I chose this brand based on Consumer Labs testing, and it's mostly as expected.They did have some kind of capsule quality problem with the bottle I got; several of the capsules were broken on one end, which ended up coating all of the capsules in the bottle with the powder the capsules contain. Not the end of the world, but it does make them a little extra tangy when trying to take them.Hopefully this was a fluke and next time all the capsules will be in their proper sealed form, not bursting alpha-lipoic acid all over the contents of the bottle.

I think it actually works?! DOES seem to be burning fat... I can smell a difference in my urine (smells meaty/protein) as if it is a Keto-type burning enhancer? In any event, haven't gained any weight since I started using it, unmentionable body functions seem to work more efficiently and more often. ;) My mother's Dr. says he wishes everyone over 50 would use it. So, I tried it and I will keep buying it. I've been using 2 capsules with a meal in the morning after my wake up cup of hot lemon water. Product recommends twice daily, so I'm adding the evening dose after no bad side effects. This is probably the BEST fat burning product I've tried. At least it SMELLS like it is working. I think if I got serious about reducing calories or adding a limited exercise routine daily... I could LOSE weight. (I have hypothroidism with hysterectomy and hormone replacement therapy.)

Good product but , did not receive the full amount in bottle. . Took 2 a day for a few days , but suspected a shortage and I decided to count , and had only 80 left. Probably had used no more than 22 to 26. If I order more , I will count the amount before using any.

I have nerve damage. I wanted to try a recommended vitamin regime that included Acetyl L Carnitine 1500 mg, Aloha Lipoic 800 mg, Turmeric, B12, and Fish Oil. I followed the regime for one month and felt and saw improvement above and beyond what I thought was my normal healing time. If you do your own research you will find that some studies support that it helps
