Engineering Drawing and Design 6th Edition

This book was just what I was looking for for training my new customer. It has everything needed to help a graduate of engineering the knowledge to make engineering drawings and hit the ground running. The colleges need to start using this instead of just teaching their students to be CAD jockeys. Industry needs more than just someone who can create a model.

This book gives great information of the many kids of drafting fields and is very helpful when not familiar with certain aspects.

This book solved many of my drawing questions.I also found that there are some problems in my drawings after reading this book.Surely it's a masterpiece of engineering drawing.It worth the price.

AutoCAD is THE Engineering software, so it is complex. Not much help if you have an uninvolved instructor. Directions for using the tools etc are not detailed enough to be helpful. Took lots of the graphics out of the latest edition. Bought AutoCAD for Dummies to get the real help with the program.
