Heavy enough not to easily tip over. Easy to put together if you follow the instructions - take note of where the holes are situated as they are not all in the same place. This is pointed out on the instructions. I'm happy with the quality.

We are using this as a side table to a rocking chair in our nursery and it is perfect. It was simple to put together following the instructions. It went together well and is very sturdy. The parts are not the highest quality but do look like high quality. We have used this every day for 5 months and it still looks brand new. It is a very good height next to our chair and slim enough to not take up too much room. It has a well thought out design with storage on the top, just under the top and at the bottom. This worked well for storing bottles, snacks, feeding items and then the top for a drink, the current bottle and our phone. I think this would be perfect as a side table in a living room too. Overall I was impressed and feel this is a good product.

Looks lovely, the black is neutral and smart for any room. Easy to assemble and the shelves are really useful. Fits well in a small space and holds lots of books, not to mention heavy bookends, so I'd say it's pretty sturdy.

I bought this because my husband keeps putting his cup of tea on the arm of his chair and his keys and wallet on top of my fountain pen display box. Now he's not going to leave ring marks on the leather or scratch my glass with his keys since it all goes on this little table. It even has space for all the remote controls so it frees up my coffee table for his feet. It could be about 10cm shorter but I'm very happy with it for such a low price. It's quality is flawless. It is solid and doesn't wobble and it's surprisingly stable for such a narrow table.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this, but was very pleasantly surprised by the outcome. The item arrived on time and VERY well packed. No damage occurred during transit. Assembly was quite straightforward with all parts numbered and a very good set of illustrated instructions - much better than Ikea's, as other reviewers have mentioned. During initial assembly, it's important to get the holes in the metal base frame correctly positioned. (Something that's pointed out on each page!) All the fastening points lined up correctly and the thing went together easily. I deduct one star from the overall score because one screw for the base plate was missing. I was able to replace this from the "Old Box Of Useful Screws" but not everyone keeps one of these. The finished unit is attractive and clearly well-designed. The adjustable feet are a great feature and necessary to keep such a narrow piece stable on the floor. The optional "Gray" finish is actually quite dark, closer to charcoal grey in appearance. I liked this little table so much that I went straight back onto Amazon and ordered another one!

Assembly: Wasn't too bad but the screws really squeaked when we torqued them in (took about 20-25 minutes) - you can tell it's not IKEA-level quality but not so bad that I would avoid them in the future. Sturdiness: It's not wobbly especially since I store heavier books at the bottom - the well/basket it creates works very well so the books don't slide off! Compact: I am not blessed with space at my work station so this fit perfectly and I store things away from my desk and my desk stays uncluttered - yay! (Considering buying another to put side by side if I end up with more space in the future)
