AlgaeCal is our raw AlgaeCal powder with only Vitamin D3 added. It is suggested for those who cannot consume Vitamin K2. AlgaeCal Plus contains Vitamins K2 and C along with 14 bone-supporting nutrients for improved calcium absorption.

Q: What types of calcium are in AlgaeCal?

AlgaeCal naturally contains different forms of calcium, which vary between calcium hydroxide, sulphate, chloride, phosphate, and carbonate. Keep in mind that AlgaeCal is not just calcium. It contains several other bone-supporting minerals.

Q: Can I take AlgaeCal with calcium rich foods?

Yes. Our Bone Health expert Lara Pizzorno suggests that calcium absorption is highest when we consume up to 500 mg at one time. If you consume more than this, you will still absorb calcium, you will just absorb less of the calcium over 500 mg.

Q: I have a Shellfish Allergy, can I take AlgaeCal?
