Prints like wood, smooth as PLA
I bought the OVV3D Wood 3D Printer Filament Bundle because I wanted to try printing some custom "wood carved" objects on my 3D printer—and I’m really impressed. The filament ran cleanly through my Prusa Mini with no clogs or stringing, which is always a concern with composite filaments. Each roll had a unique wood tone that added great variety to my prints without needing post-processing. The real magic is in the finish—printed parts come out with a subtle matte texture and wood-like appearance that looks great straight off the bed. I used it for a few decorative models and even a plant pot sleeve, and every piece has that organic feel I was going for. It doesn’t have that burnt smell some wood filaments give off either, which was a pleasant surprise.

Works Perfectly in my Flashforge AD5X
Absolutely blown away with the quality, texture and color of these! My favorite filaments so far. Loooove them! Works beautifully with my Flashforge AD5X and it mixes very well with higher temps and other brand filaments. I can’t wait to buy the bigger spools of these.

Great prints with no setting hassles
I have successfully printed many items with this filament using both of my Flashforge adventurer 5m printers. I used the standard PLA setting in my slicer- I hesitated initially, thinking I would regret not finding a profile for wood-PLA , but nah...churned out flawless prints using the standard PLA profile in the flashforge default slicing software. I will be ordering full size spools going forward.

Great stuff but tricky and needs thoughtful printing
I had total success using .6mm nozzle and only printing decorative non-structural sections of this project. This custom picture frame is mostly basic brown PLA with the OVV3D Wood (Redwood and Oak) fused nicely on the upper layers. It feels and smells like wood! Very nice! I like this filament, but it is rough, inconsistent, and makes fragile prints. It may clog .4mm nozzle too easily, so stick with .6mm which allows a lower nozzle temp of 190C. Dry it well before use, even fresh from the package. So, print only decorative surfaces and you will be fine. Print structural stuff with basic PLA first and layer on the OVV3D Wood filament or print separate pieces for gluing on later. That will save costs too - print only what needs to visibly wooden and you'll be fine. Not for beginners.

Such fun color combinations
Love the color variations on this! So excited to print with them! They are small spools so just note the size when you're ordering!

great quality
was skeptical at first, but pleasently suprised at the quality, the only draw back I saw was residue buildup in my hotend and nozzle, Have replacement nozzles handy if your printing a large print, and make sure to do proper retractions and cleaning in betweeen prints. as long as you keep that in mind you will have no issues

Don't buy!!
I will never buy this filament again. I was fairly new to 3D printing when I ordered it, I thought it would be fun to try some different colors. However, when using it, no matter how much I researched how to change the settings to fix the issues that kept happening, the filament continued to break, not stick to the table, and be extremely stringy. There is no way to fix this issue, and for that I would never buy this again. I bought some other filament from an official brand and I've had no issues with it at all. Save your money, buy an official brand. This one kinda sucks

Actually looks like wood!
I was skeptical on how it would turn out but I tried making this woven pencil holder and honestly have no complaints. The color is true to the wood type, and it had no structural issues whatsoever. Going to have to get the bigger ones for bigger projects of course.
