I have one hooked up to my living room table lamp and connected through Alexa app. "Alexa, turn on the light" switches my living room light on when I get home and have my hands full in a dark room. I can turn my light on or off when I'm away from home if I'm traveling. I used one on our Xmas tree last year on a timer function so that the tree was lit up when we woke up, turned off while we were at work/school, and then back on again just before we were scheduled to be home and off again when we went to bed. I hang up all of our laundry that I can in our laundry room to dry. A small fan keeps the air flow moving. I can set it on a timer from my phone, or turn it on and off from my phone when I feel the laundry is dry. The savings on running the 220V clothes dryer has to be pretty significant. These are just a few uses I've found for these handy little outlets!

One to control the power to my daughter's TV via a timer function and one to control a bedroom light via voice control with Alexa.Both plugs work great! They are small and unobtrusive. The plug doesn't block the other power outlet above/ below it. The timer function works great. No TV after bedtime and I can set a one hour timer at the touch of a button. I haven't had a problem with the plugs going offline. Setup was easy & it didn't take a million tries to get them connected. The app is very well written with a nice user interface. I will definitely be looking into getting a few more of these plugs for around the house.

While it does work and is easy to use, I had to unplug it due to the strange things our internet was doing when it was plugged in.Once removed, everything went back to normal.Examples of problems:Netflex - Had to keep spooling. Usually 10 times in an hour show. If this happens once a week normally it would be surprising.Spotify - Losing connection at least 4 times an hour.Wife's mac - Losing connection several times an hour.I may wait a few months and see if there is a firmware update and try again. If so, will update here.It was so inexpensive, it wasn't worth returning.

Simple to set up and use. Works just like other brands that I have and yet it is priced better than those others when they are not on sale. Uses the Smart Life App which I have found to just work. This plug did not automatically go into the mode it needed to go into, but once I held the button to put it in the correct mode it connected right away.I plan on using this plug to turn off and on a small lamp so I can use it with my Alexa system for voice activated switching.I would buy more of this specific plug based on the ease of setup and the price.

My son bought this for me for Christmas, because every time we are pulling out of the driveway, I’m always questioning whether or not I left my curling iron on! Nine times out of 10 it’s off, but this way, I can just pull the app up and make sure that it is off, and turn it off it’s on! LOVE this product!

Unit worked well until just after warranty expired. Now it comes on and shuts itself back off. Repeat the on, it shuts off immediately. After 4 or 5 times it will come on for about 2 hours then shuts off.

I always wanted to try a smart plug but the prices seemed to high. When I saw this I figured I'd give it a try. Timing was perfect. My mother in law is visiting us and can't get around very well. She is legally blind and so we are teaching her how to use Alexa. She gets hot alot...then cold...then hot...you get the picture. We hooked this up to our fan. We no longer need to get up and down. She controls her comfort. Thank you so much for this.

It works in most cases, but sometimes it blinks and then the remote control fails. I have to unplug it and plug it in again to make it "smart".
