Great quality knife
Civivi never fails me. I wanted to pick up this knife because they have discontinued the model, and I am not disappointed. The damascus pattern is like a fingerprint. No two are ever alike. The blade is sharp out of the box, and the weight is good, not too heavy not too light. The flipper and pivot are smooth and easy to deploy, but the frame lock is a tad stiff. The knife feels great in the hand, definitely worth the price. Pick up your Cetos before they're gone!

Awesome Civivi
Very nice Damascus and carbon fiber knife. The flamed titanium pocket clip fits as well making it even better. Can’t beat the price and quality. Very very sharp out the box

For real EDC
Makes its way into my pocket regularly by merit of its sheer versatility. The shaping of the knife overall is pretty great: Good handle ergonomics that don't sacrifice aesthetics at the altar of engineering, an eminently practical blade shape, extended spine jimping, a flip tab that's*just* big enough to function reliably... Blade is plenty long for a pocketknife, and 14c28n is a good 'jack of all' work steel. You can trust a frame lock a little better than a liner to preserve your fingers, too. The fairly thin blade and handle give it a svelte profile in your pocket, whether that pocket is stuffed full, or contains nothing but the knife. Wood scale looks classy, too. Or is it rustic? Is this a gentleman's folder, or a light-duty work knife? The answer is, "yes."Overall, the Cetos is:Versatile. Dependable. Unpretentious. A good, honest knife.

Just ok.
The knife is or appears to be a copy of the benchmade Bugout with blade shape an ergo's. The knife is well made. Had some lock up issues and does not always deploy with the flipper tap. The knife is kinda heavy at 3.90 oz. Nice pocket clip. The knife is over rated. It's a 3 at best. I like Civivi, have many. This one is average at best. Civivi should have fixed the issues and released better

CIVIVI Cetos: A Sharp Companion with a Stubborn Lock
The CIVIVI Cetos is like that dependable buddy who’s always up for an adventure—just maybe a little too eager to hang on. With its 3.48-inch 14C28N spear point blade, this thing is wicked sharp, slicing through boxes, rope, and whatever else you throw at it like a champ. The coarse Micarta scales give it a rugged, no-slip grip, so even if your hands are sweaty from wrestling a bear (or just a tough jar lid), you’re good to go.The flipper action? Smooth as a fresh jar of peanut butter. CIVIVI always nails their deployment, and the Cetos is no exception. But here’s the kicker—the liner lock can be a pain to disengage. Maybe I just got one with an extra stubborn lock, but sometimes it feels like this knife refuses to let go, making it a little frustrating when trying to close it up quickly.Final Verdict:A sleek, sharp, and well-built EDC knife with a solid blade and a grip that feels great. If the liner lock was easier to deal with, this would be a knockout, but for now—7/10. Maybe mine was just a little tight, but be prepared for a possible workout when closing it. 🔪🔥

The CIVIVI Cetos is another great knife in my collection!
I have several excellent CIVIVI knives and the Cetos does not disappoint.Everything about the Cetos is on point! The 14C28N blade is very sharp out of the box and withmild honing razor sharp. The grip is secure and comfortable save for the clip.I replaced the clip due to having a raised edge that dug into my palm. But overall I give this Cetos 5 Stars.

Horrible and gritty action. Don’t buy
The action absolutely sucks. I wish I had a better word to use but I don’t. Also it feels like there’s sand in the pivots on the 2 I bought. Really disappointing showing from Civivi. I highly recommend the Sendy if you’re looking at the Civivi brand

I’m happy!
The media could not be loaded. Really like it. Love the wood, 14c28n is ok if you touch it up weekly or so. Finally, an affordable replacement for my much loved and now lost voltaic. Great lock up snapping sound. Very tight as other reviews said. Hoping it loosens over time or I can modify it very slightly. For the price I’m quite happy. I like how it’s weighted. You can see what I’m talking about in the video, nice look and snap, well centered, but currently tight.
