Well-packaged for shipment, well-made; does the job. Will pop open if subjected to positive air-pressure and can wedge closed if large negative pressure is applied. The inner and outer portions are mated with a conical fitting, frosted glass. Fits well, but not with a large pressure differential between inside and outside.

It served me well until it slipped from my hands and crashed on the concrete floor from 3 feet. So I was able to confirm that the glass is 2mm thick. Well made and I am getting another for replacement...

If you want to use as cold trap. Put 3 or 4 inline!!! Perfecto!!!!!! Stops everything!!! For Buchner filtering it saves you from ruining your pump. Those of you with food freeze dryers could easily have a setup and keep their oil clean from water and smells. You would need to match the connections. This company is really good!

Wasn’t expecting much at this price point, pleasantly surprised. I’ve had this for a few months now and it has resisted my clumsiness. Still appears as if new.

Works grate as an evap catch for vacuum easy to set up in sirries or under stepped switch standard fit so most carbon in line filter can work in unison for exhaust controll. Though the glass yes is to spec could use a bit of tempering mine did Crack under vacuum but after many uses an a slight tap with a mixing spoon

Package finally arrived, broken, insufficient bubblewrap in packaging, packaging allowed for the glass object to move around inside and be broken. No fragile labeling, no upside or downside indication, fragile stemware broken rendering purchase useless. Money spent, time waited, broken glassware which cannot be repaired due to poor sub-standard packaging. This should be unacceptable, now we will have to wait for a replacement, in the meantime we needed this for a trial, folks are traveling from afar. This is very unreliable business QWORKS should take better pride in the deliverance of what should be durable quality equipment. I suppose we will wait and hope the piece is durable, and the packaging is sufficient to allow for the use of our money and time. Must we purchase two of everything to ensure you don't break it with carelessness? I'm sure nothing will be done about all of this, if QWORKS had stronger pride in their work and craftsmanship behind the product, we wouldn't be so put out, what a pity.

Very nice cold trap, extremely well built. The glass is very thick and I've been using it for a few weeks now without any issues. The joints are perfect as well, I've had lots of cheap glassware just have crunchy joints but these joints are nice and smooth.
